The Magicians Playground

Authors Note: As I stated in my summery, I will take requests on the pairings. I can write almost any pairing if I try. However, I will not write any slash or incest. Not in this story. If you want a slashy/incestual version, request it, if I'm bored or sugar high enough I may make a second version.

"Welcome to the magicians playground. Welcome to the doorway of your destiny. Welcome to. . ."

"Okay, that's really getting on my nerves!" Lilly said, pointing to one of the loudspeakers randomly placed around the carnival. They had, of course, been repeating the same lines over and over again for the last twenty minutes.

"Don't worry about it, Lilly." Miley saaid, looking at a clock. "Its only ten more minutes until we meet daddy and Jackson for dinner."

"Ten more minutes of listening to annoying carnival commercials?" Lilly moaned. "Kill me now."

Miley rolled her eyes. "Hey," She said, "Maybe it will be quieter inside that tent."

"I don't know. . ."

"Oh, come on!" Miley said, dragging her friend into said tent. "There, you can't even hear the stupid loudspeakers in here!"

"Wecome to the magicians playground."

Miley closed her eyes and winced. "Let me guess which tent this is. . ."

Lilly smacked her upside the head. "You call this helping?" She grabbed her friends wrist and began to drag her back out of the tent.

There was a puff of smoke and a woman in a black-blue cloak appeared in front of them, her black hair held in a braided crown around her head.

"Wait." The woman said softly. "I am Rori of the Crescent Moon, Magician of the Mind."

"Good for you." Miley said with an over-cheerful smile. "I'm Miley, and this is my friend Lilly-"
"Hi!" Lilly waved.

"We were just leaving."

"But you can't leave without trying one of my potions first."

'"Sure we can. See? Here we go." She made to walk around the magician.

"Oh, please?" Rori begged, slipping out of her act. "You're the first customers I've gotten all evening."
Miley and Lilly exchanged glances.

"Oh, alright. But just one."

Rori smiled. "Thank you so much." She said before suddenly transforming back into the magician act. "This way please." She lead them into the other half of the tent, and plucked a small brown botle off of a shelf. "This will do nicely."

"For what?" Lilly asked.

"You'll see." Rori said, her gray eyes sparkling as she poured just a bit of the potion into a glass. "Which of you wishes to drink it?"

"Not me." Miley said quickly.

"Baby." Lilly said, taking the glass. "Ooh, smells like vanilla." She shrugged and downed the glass. "I don't feel any different."

"Now touch your friend." Rori said, amusement in her voice.

"Why?"

"Just do it so we can leave." Miley said impatiently.

"Oh, fine." Lilly said, tapping Mileys shoulder.

(Cue musical chime now.)

Miley and Lilly stared at each other, then at themselves, then back at each other.

"Why am I you?" 'Lilly' finally asked.

"What do you mean why are you me? Why am I you"

Rori laughed.

"Put us back!" 'Miley' demanded, pointing her finger at the musician. "Now!"

"Alright, alright." She waved her finger at them. "Returno!"

(Cue musical chime now.)

Miley and Lilly looked at each other for a moment.

"Oh thank god!" Lilly exclaimed. "Come on Miley, lets go."

Rori pressed the bottle into Miley's hand and winked. "Keep it, it might come in handy later."

Miley didn't get a chance to respond as she was dragged away.

Rori absently dusted the shelf where the potion had been and sat down, listening to the loudspeakers outside.

"Welcome to the doorway of your destiny. Welcome to the magicians playground."

She smiled faintly. "Yes, indeed. Welcome to my playground."
