A/N my little cousin asked for a Sendrick fic after the MTV awards. Here you go!
"Look I'm just really annoyed with her!" Brittany was complaining to Skylar and Anna Camp about how Anna Kendrick didn't even bother to wish her good luck.
"This is supposed to be a celebratory time! Enjoy it I'm sure there's other people like Kendrick out there!" Skylar reassured her.
"Skylar's right. Maybe she hasn't been able to get to her phone. The time zones are different in London as well!" Anna hugged her. "She would never stop thinking about you!"
"Thanks guys, but it's still upsetting that she hasn't even phoned!"
"Stay here and think about it we'll phone her and ask what's up!" Skylar rubbed her back. "You know where we are!"
They stood up and left her alone.
*** 15 minutes later ***
"And the winner of best comedy is..." The cast held their breath.
"I wish Kendrick could be here!" Brittany sighed.
"We all do Brit..." Anna sighed. "We all do..."
"Pitch Perfect!"
The night was amazing. There was just one person missing. After the awards they all went out for drinks.
"Come on Brit you can't stay here forever!" Rebel slurred.
"I'm fine Rebel have fun..."
Skylar and Anna walked up to the depressed blonde. "Forget about her for a moment! Rebel and Ben are about to sing Party In The USA!" She smiled at Brittany.
"Yeah come on! It'll be fun!" He held his hand out for her. He guided her to the karaoke stage.
"Stay here!" Skylar instructed her as he and Anna walked off.
"Hey!" Ben put his hand on her shoulder.
"What? Anna and Skylar told me you and Rebel were gonna sing Party In The USA!" She cocked an eyebrow.
"No..." He was cut off by the master of the karaoke.
"Hey!" Skylar and Anna were standing on the stage, everyone was quiet so he would continue. "We have a surprise!"
"Yeah, there was been a very depressed member of our Pitch Perfect family!" Anna smiled at Brittany. "We have a special surprise for you Brit!"
They moved aside and Anna Kendrick walked through the curtain holding a bunch of roses. She hugged Anna and took the microphone from her.
"Okay, I have made a dick move! I can't believe I went to London and left the love of my life here!" She jumped off the stage. "I also can't believe I missed the opportunity to perform with the rest of the family!"
"I love you Brit and I would never leave you on purpose! I wish I hadn't gone to London. I was sitting in my hotel room when Anna called, told me and I quote, ' Kendrick she's so depressed and it's killing me! Please come over here, you may miss the show but we all want you here to celebrate with us!' I wish I had been here earlier but I had to get these through security!" She motioned to the roses. "I wouldn't be here Brit if it wasn't for team Castin! You know that's cute maybe if you get together I could call you that! Anyway they really care about you I think we need to give them some of the praise!" She tossed the microphone to Ben who turned it off.
The song playing was titanium. "I wonder who chose that!" Brittany laughed.
"Team Castin all the way!" Kendrick held her fist in the air and laughed.
"I love you my little Kendrick!" Brittany smiled as she shared a kiss with the love of her life.
