The moon was full and the summer breez blew across his fur. He perched on the balcony, looking a the stars and how beautiful everything was.
He then thought of "her", the one person he has loved since he moved into the mansion and joined the X-men. He always knew he was a freak of nature, and knew no one could ever love him or even stand to be near him, he being a demon after all.
But she was different, she made him feel like he was home, that he was wanted, that he was an angel in a demon mask. She always made him feel that there was hope that maybe some day someone one would look at him differently. That happened when he dated Amanda, she didnt care that he was a blue furry elf, she loved him for him. But even with Amanda he always thought of "her", thats another reason why they split. Now time has gone on. He was an adult, of age twenty, and he hasn't found any one since then. But she still gives him hope that there is someone waiting for him and only him.
He wished that it was "her" that was waiting and wanting him, but that was a shot in the dark. She was his best friend, he loved her more than anything in the world.
Kurt could feel someone walk up behind him, but he reconized that smell.
"Hallo Keety."
"What are you thinking?"
"Eets nozhing."
She put an arm around him and hugged him.
"You still zhink zhere is someone out zhere vaiting for me?"
"Yes I do, and you like know shes closer than you like think."
"Vas do you mean?"
Kitty smiled and kissed his lips.
"I'm waiting for you, just you."
