Chûnin Exams, Rock Lee Spots Sakura
Rock Lee walks up with his team, promising them he'd remain in the background and inconspicuous, but he forgets it all when he sees her, Sakura Haruno. A smile spreads across his face as he prepares himself. He imagines music playing in his head while he sings the words;
"I've just seen a face I can't forget the time or place where we just met. She 's just the girl for me and I want all the world to see we've met, mm-mm-mm-m-m-m."
The whole group of hopeful genin start dancing, guys with girls. They follow careful dance steps and no one is ever out of step. Lee twirls between them, taking turns dancing with every girl but keeping his eyes out for Sakura the entire time.
"Had it been another day I might have looked the other way and I'd have never been aware, but as it is I'll dream of her tonight, dai-dai-dai-da-da-dai!"
He prances through the group, spreading joy to them all with his happy music. But one person is not enjoying it. Sasuke. He sits in a corner by himself.
Lee makes it to Tenten and he spins her around, taking Ino next. He slides her under his legs and back up, blowing a kiss to Sakura and dropping Ino onto the ground.
"Fallin', yes I am fallin', and she keeps callin', me back again."
Lee gazes at Sakura lovingly, transfixed by her light green eyes. Sakura's eyes grow in horror as Lee uses his special move he learnt from Gai, "Butterfly kisses of DOOM". He smiles flirtatiously, dangerously, his eyes sparkling like diamonds.
"I have never known the like of this I've been alone and I have missed things and kept outta sight, but other girls were never quite like this, mm-mm-mm-m-m-m."
Sakura scrambles away from the attempt, trying to avoid Rock Lee at all costs. She backs up against Naruto in horror, starting to dance with him to the music.
"Fallin, yes I am fallin', and she keeps callin', me back again."
The guys and girls dance and twirl around randomly, lightening the mood. By now, even Sasuke is moving with the music and feeling the mood of it all.
Then, all the girls go into the middle and dance in sync. Left, right, up, right. Left, down, up, left.
They all jump up and guys come in and catch them. They all stand around Rock Lee as he lay in the middle. He moves his hands and feet around the circle like the clock-rug stretch in "Big comfy Couch".
"Fallin, yes I am fallin', and she keeps callin', me back again."
Everyone drops onto the ground and lay around Rock Lee, their chins resting on their hands. They move their feet back and forth and spin onto their sides, doing little kicks.
"Fallin, yes I am fallin', and she keeps callin', me back again."
Everyone jumps and takes a few steps back, dancing and singing softly. Only Lee and Sakura are left in the middle.
"Fallin'"
"Yes he is fallin'!" Sakura choruses with a smile.
"And she keeps callin', me back again."
Lee then gets down on his knee and passes Sakura a rose. The lights fade.
I know, short oneshot, but I love the song, and Rock Lee's a sexy beast (:P) so I had to.
