That's a story I found on my computer. I made it for my English class a while ago. So…please enjoy : )

Valentine's Day, February 14th, is a special day for lovers everywhere…

'G'day,' said the girl in the flower shop. 'How may I help you?' 'Oh, er, hi', said Nick. 'I'd like those roses, please.' And added: 'For my sweetheart.' Nick looked at the girl. She had the most beautiful eyes he had ever seen. As she walked past him to get the flowers, he read her name on her name badge. Miley, it said. Miley Cyrus. 'There you are,' said the girl. 'I hope your sweetheart likes them.' She smiled a beautiful smile. Nick paid and left. The girl watched him. He was tall, good-looking, athletic… "What a great guy," she thought. "It's a pity he already has a sweetheart. Oh well, that's the story of my life."

Outside the shop, Nick looked at his watch. 9 o'clock. Time for work.

At 4 o'clock, Miley closed the flower shop. Things had not been good between her and Liam for some time, but he had invited her to dinner in a nice restaurant this evening, and she needed to buy him a Valentine's Day present. She hurried to the big department store in Sydney's Harbour Street, and took the elevator to the fifth floor where the electronics department was.

'G'day,' she said to the man behind the counter. 'I'd like…' The man turned around. It was the guy from this morning. 'Hi,' he said with a big smile. 'How may I help you – it's Miley, isn't it? I'm Nick. Nick Jonas.' 'Oh er, Nick, hi. I'd like a mobile phone, please' said Miley and added: 'For my fiancé.' The smile disappeared from Nick's face. So she had a fiancé. 'Well, we have lots of those,' he said at last. 'I'll take that one,' said Miley quickly. 'Can you get me on to a network straight away?' 'No problem,' he said. 'A couple of minutes and it'll be ready to use.' He came back with the phone and gave it to Miley. 'I hope your fiancé likes it,' he said.

Later that evening, Miley and Liam were in the restaurant. 'I'm so sorry,' Liam was saying. 'But you have to agree things haven't been too good between us for a long time now, Miley. I think we should break it off. It just isn't going to work."

It was then that the mobile phone in Miley's bag rang. She hadn't yet given it to Liam. She was surprised. Who knew the number? But she was even more surprised when she looked across the restaurant. There, at another table, was Nick. He was holding up a mobile phone. 'Liam, I'm sorry but I have to take this call,' said Miley. He nodded. Quickly, Miley went to the corner of the room and answered the phone. It was a text message. It read:

'Dearest Miley. I've thought about u all day. Do u really love another? Say u don't! Please be mine. PS: My "sweetheart' is my sister.'

With shining eyes and trembling hands, Miley typed these words and pressed send:
'I'm yours!'

After Miley sent the message she went back to the table but not taking her eyes off of Nick. When he got her message he became all smiley. 'I hope you understand it, Miley. I'm really sorry it doesn't work out.' said Liam. 'Well, I'm okay with it. I understand it. I have t g now. Thanks for dinner.' With that she stood up and walked to the table where Nick sat. 'Hey, Nick right?' she said giggling. 'Well, hello there.' He answered. 'So, what are you doing her?' 'I wanted to meet my sweetheart but she can't get here. So, I guess, since you're here you want to be my Valentine's date?' 'I'd love to'

The two of them spent the evening together.

Later Nick drove Miley home. In front of the door they stopped. 'You didn't tell me what happened with your fiancé.' Said Nick. 'It hasn't worked out. But I'm over it.' They smiled at each other. 'I have to go. See you soon?' asked Miley. Nick nodded. As Miley turned around to get inside he grabbed her wrist, turned her around and kissed her.
