Scott was scatter-brained, slow, and average intelligence on a good day. A day after the full moon he was only half that. So when he walked into chemistry and realized he forgot a pen he turned to Stiles for help.
"No." Came the immediate response.
"What? Stiles c'mon, why not?" Scott whispered.
"Cause everytime I lend you one I either never see it again or I get it back with little were-bites all over it." Stiles whispered back.
"Dude it's just a pen!"
"I'm not a pen bank, I don't have infinite supply of pens!"
"I'll give it back I swear!"
"You said that the last five times and I've yet to see a pen back."
"Well this time I mea—"
"AHEM."
Scott and Stiles looked up in unison to see the whole class and Mr. Harris staring at them. He didn't look happy.
"McCall, front of the class and you can borrow one of my pens," Mr. Harris smirked, "In return for three hours of detention."
"What!? That's not fair!" Scott shouted.
"I can double it to make it fair." Mr. Harris smirked wider and gestured to the empty seat at the front of the class.
Scott sighed, irritated, and glared at Stiles who was laughing behind his hand at Scott.
"Oh." Mr. Harris turned to Stiles, "And that goes for you too Mr. Stilinski. I'll see you both after school."
"WHAT!?" Stiles shouted in disbelief.
Scott didn't even try to hide his laughter.
