A pair of hands suddenly obscured her vision, the velvet soft voice in her ear making the person easy to recognize. "Happy Valentine's Day, Serena."
She smiled, feeling his lips on hers as he slid his arms around her waist, letting her see again. "Happy Valentine's day." She murmured, hugging him tightly.
"So how many are you up to today?" He tried to poke through the slightly overflowing bag to see how many people had requested her as their valentine.
She slapped his hands, sticking her tongue out playfully. "You don't get to know."
"Okay, be that way." He grinned, clasping her hand. "I just hope you'll have room for my presents."
"Presents?" Her dark green eyes light up as she smiled, leaning into him. "As in more than one, right?"
"Yes unless all you'd like is this box of conversation hearts." He pulled out the pink box from his blazer pocket, placing it in her hand.
"I'll take the box and the rest of my gifts." Serena laughed, kissing him as they sat down at one of the tables located in the courtyard. "I have something for you too."
"I can't wait." Dan pried the box out of her hands, tearing the small box open with ease. "Ladies first."
"I have to share with you?" Serena narrowed her eyes playfully, taking one out of the box. "'Kiss me'."
"If you say so." Dan laughed, kissing her before she could pop the candy into her mouth. "I knew I bought these for a good reason. They should all say that."
"I'd get you a box, but I'm afraid every one will say 'do me'." Serena teased, popping the white heart into her mouth.
"You're very funny, van der Woodsen." He leaned in, grabbing an orange heart. "Alright this one says, 'Love her'."
"Do you love me?" She looked at him seriously, no trace of humor remaining in her eyes.
"Of course I do, Serena." He kissed her again, smiling. "I'll always love you."
Her smile grew bigger as she fished out the next heart. "'Thank you'."
Dan laughed, plucking it out of her hands and eating it. "These things are pure genius."
"Hey- I was going to eat that."
"Aww..I'm sorry Serena." He put on his puppy dog face, making it impossible for her to be even the slightest bit angry at him.
She rolled her eyes, holding out the box for him. "Fine, but I get to eat yours."
He laughed, picking up a green one. "Be mine?" He held it in front of her mouth, feeding it to her.
"Always." She murmured kissing him.
