Okay the tune is pretty flexible here, so just hum something until it sounds right. You may need to put extra emphasis on some syllables, but when I sing it, it sounds pretty decent. It could also be a poem. As I said, flexible.
I fell for you
As the leaves began to change
You left me standing
In the cold, hard rain
And I never knew why
And I never knew how
But I always thought
We'd turn this thing around
Snowflakes drifted
Like falling stars
But no matter how many times I wished
You were never in my arms
I waited for you
As the flowers bloomed
But you drifted even further away
From me
I began to lose hope
As the summer sun glowed
But you came running back to me
You came running back to me
And it was then I knew I'd never be
Free
Because you stole my heart
As the leaves began to change
You left me standing
In the cold, hard rain
And I never knew why
And I never knew how
But I'd always hoped
We'd turn this thing around
Snowflakes drifted
Like falling stars
But no matter how many times I wished
You were never in my arms
I waited for you
As the flowers bloomed
But he held you even closer
To him
I began to walk away
As the summer sun glowed
But you came running back to me
You came running back to me
And it was then I knew I'd never be
Free
Because I'd wanted you
Since the leaves began to change
You left me standing in
The cold, hard rain
And now I'll never know why
And I'll never know how
But, yes, I'd always hoped
You'd turn this thing around
Frost spread quickly
Over your heart
And I stayed by your side
But we slowly grew apart
I waited for you
Where the cherry blossoms fell
But you never came to me
Not to me
I said goodbye
As the summer sun glowed
And you came running after me
You came running after me
And it was then I knew I'd never be
Free from you
I sit beneath
You favorite tree
And watch stars come out
Above me
I wonder if you're watching
I wonder if he knows
I wonder if she's there with you
I wonder if you glow
We all miss you here
And want you to come home
The kits are crying
Your mother's dying
Of grief
For you
I want you to know
I'll always be right here
I want you to know
I found you in the river, dear
I want you to know
I've shed so many tears
But they can't bring you back to me
Sitting under the sky tonight
I can only see your face
The stars aren't bright enough
To fill the empty space
There's darkness deep inside of me
A void nothing can fill
I've lost too much
And want to touch you, still
Holding you tight
Taking in the sights
Hearing your voice
Losing myself
In your eyes
There are things I wish
I never said
To you
There are things I wonder
If you ever
Knew
But here I am alone
My heart has turned to stone
And with this emptiness beside me
I only wish for you to guide me
Home
Poor Timbermask.
