chapter 1
I enter the building with a look in my scarlet eyes that suggest that I have great fear. If the man next to me had seen this i did not know and I don't think that i will ever know, this man had an air of pride about him, his long, gray, and tangled hair fell over his thin face in a way that suggested that he had an power about him that was both terrible and great.
"Come along Mikey" he said in his scratched voice that all together had an air of power about it, "we do not have much time."
From the outside the building seemed small and insignificant and I had wondered how it could be a school, but then as I walked in I saw that it was a large and beautiful. I see an ornate chandelier that hung from a ceiling that was 78 floors up yet still the bottom of it hung only 20ft over my head. Spiraling around the chandelier were only doors with no floor under them.
We had walked under the chandelier and came to the first door the man beckoned me inside. We came to a hallway and that was filed with many doors that all looked different from each other. At the end of the hall we came to a large door with a dragon card into it.
"This is my office." He said, "please come in."
I entered and saw that it was full of strange objects.
"Sit."
I did as I was asked.
"I'm sure that you are wondering what is going on here. Well this is as you know a school, but it is not a school for students with mental ailments, this is a school for students with special abilities. We have for classes of students winged, 4 legged,and the belly riders as I can see from your necklace you are a winged student."
I had had this necklace for as long as I could remember my mother had made me sweare not to take it off. It had a small figure on it it was a small angle like creature but it was black and it had crooked black wings that looked like a bat's wing. It reminded me of a gargoyle.
"And finally you have a power that you do understand the power of magic."
