I can see the you

Under your second skin

I can feel your heartbeat quicken

Quicken and then slow

There's nothing else I need to know

And there's nothing you need to pretend

If the world should end

-If the World Should End

Spiderman Turn off the Dark

She could not help but be worried about him. It was a day they were waiting for. Their last day trapped as teenagers in a boarding school. They could finally be free. They would celebrate how they made it through the mystery and all of the evil people they encountered. Not fighting it all over again. It already was the end of everything after Ammut. Why does he have to be the hero? Why is he the one who everyone must rely on to save them all? They expect too much of him. He is just a boy. And it is his graduation day.

Patricia sighed. She wanted to be there helping him. He cannot do it by himself. He seems strong enough to conquer it all on the outside. But on the inside, he is just as nervous as the rest of them. He will cause a stupid mistake to happen because he is so worried about everyone else. Eddie Miller is just supposed to be a normal 18-year-old boy on his graduation day. Not an 18-year-old boy saving the world. All of the "if's" were floating around her head as she sat in the crowded auditorium.

If he was injured, if he failed, if he died.

Then there are the memories.

When they met, their first kiss, the time she sneaked him to the cellar to help with the reflectors, the time he saved Nina, America, when they broke up, when they got back together, when he saved them from Ammut, and every "moment" they had. The last time she saw him.

"First chance I get, I'm coming to find you"

"It's a date, Yacker"

His hands were shaking as he kissed her.

Yacker. What a stupid, pointless nickname. She pretended she hated it, but every time she heard it, her heart fluttered because he was the only one who could have said it.

He of course saved her life. How did he live for weeks knowing she had no soul. That this demon was walking around pretending to be the girl he loved.

Loved. He only felt that way about her. She only felt that way about him.

This love feeling she had about him made her go crazy as she sat in the crowded room pretending to listen to what Mr. Sweet was saying. Holding back a sea of nervous tears. She needed to find him, she needed to be assured that he was ok.

He is Eddie Miller, he is the Osirian. But even though he is destined to save the world, he is only an 18-year-old boy.

And Patricia Williamson is the only one who seems to understand that.

I don't own House of Anubis or the song. Except you guys should all listen to it because it's basically Peddie in TOR.
