A/N: In this story, Sans will be around 25, and Papyrus will be 18. It's how old i depict them as, since the Tobester never mentioned how old they were. Also Chara would technically be thousands of years old, but for obvious reasons they'll be 17.
And also this story's Error doesn't have haphephobia. ANd can occasionally break the fourth wall. So yaaay~

Chara was getting tired.
Tired of what, you ask? Well, they were tired for being blamed for murdering everyone by Frisk.
All. The Damn. Time.
Why was everyone so stupid? Were they blind or something? Frisk was clearly the one who was murdering everyone, the one who found this 'fun'. But nooo, they were always seen as the sweet, and innocent little pacifist who would never hurt a fly, and Chara was seen as the murderous one.
How stupid of everyone to assume that.
SURE, they silently threatened to kill people under their breath (But fortunately and unfortunately, only Frisk could see or hear them), but that doesn't make them a murderer. Everyone has done it at least once in their lives, and if someone denies it, they're probably lying. Even Papyrus - who was seen as a cinnamon roll, but wasn't one at all, mind you - has done it many times.
How many times has Frisk killed himz? Hundreds? ...Thousands? To tell the truth, they had lost count after it reached a thousand. But every time felt like thousands of needles stabbing their heart repeatedly.
They couldn't bear to hear his last words every time. "BUT. . . ST. . . STILL! I BELIEVE IN YOU!" It hurt. "YOU CAN DO A LITTLE BETTER! EVEN IF YOU DON'T THINK SO!" It hurt so much. "I. . . I PROMISE. . ." Oh god he didn't deserve it at all. Scratch that, NOBODY did. Even Sans, who was a lazy judgmental asshole.
And Sans was the only one who could remember the resets besides them. It's just that he was so... so trusting of that demon that he couldn't see through Frisk's bullshit at all. Wasn't he the THE Judge™!? HE WOULD BE ABLE TO SEE CLEARLY THROUGH FRISK'S BULLSHIT IF HE TRIED! THOSE LIES WEREN'T EVEN THAT BELIEVEABLE!? WHY!? Why...? Why was Frisk doing this...? It wasn't fair.
Chara wiped a stray tear from their eye, trying not to think about the questions that would never be answered. Where were they right now, you may ask? Well, they were at the patch of golden flowers, currently waiting for Frisk to fall down. "Why am I waiting for them? Why am I waiting for a genocidal freak of nature? I don't even understand myself sometimes." They questioned, spinning (more like floating) around the blindingly gold buttercups in circles.
Suddenly , they hear the sound of a twig snapping. They payed no mind to it, thinking it was probably that star damned Flowey. "Hello there Chara." Chara abruptly stopped spinning around, surprised and very confused to hear someone say their name. When was the last time they had heard someone other than Frisk say it? Back when Frisk did a pacifist route, they had. But that's besides the point. Standing in front of them was a strange-looking, dark skeleton that looked like a glitched version of Sans, only darker and taller. His bones were all black and glitchy, and he had glowing blue tear marks on his face.
((A/N: Y'all know what he looks like, i'm too star damned tired to whip up a description))
"U-uhm, can you actually see me...?" They asked, wary of the new-comer. They had never seen him before in any reset (and that was saying a lot), so he was automatically listed as suspicious. "Of course i can. Why do you ask?" The weird skeleton questioned, tilting his head slightly in confusion. "I mean, normal people - and monsters - don't see me. At all. Not even Napstablook!" "Point taken. But that's not important. What's important is that I want to make a deal with you." Chara, who was pondering what the deal was, replied "Hmmm, What's the deal about?"
"I'll help you stop all the genocide runs once and for all," He internally laughed, looking at Chara's shocked expression "in exchange for some help of my own."
