* To Sabila: Sorry it took a while. I keep on saying stuff but don't actually do it. Ahhh, how can I make it up to you?

* To magnipisika16: Thanks for helping me complete the verses. I know you're not into this fandom (since you're too busy with Red), but thanks all the same.

* Well, I won't be keeping you now, reader. :)

SOLISA

The wind blows gently, rustling the leaves

The birds do sing from their perches on the trees

Humming melodies for when two souls meet

Hearts tied together with a piece of string

"What's a lovely young lady such as you doing under the shade in this warm summer's day?" a voice asked.

The girl looked up from her book and stared at the man who just spoke. His eyes were an emerald green, his face framed with tousled blonde hair. She smiled at him. "And what's a lovely gentleman such as you doing watching this lady under the shade?"

The man laughed softly, the gentle breeze tousling his already messy hair. "Why, I'm intrigued of course. What could possibly be more interesting than lounging and drinking tea on a day like this?"

She showed him her book. "Why, reading a book, of course."

The man nodded in agreement. "Of course. I understand completely. I myself am on my way to town to buy more books to read."

"Oh?" the girl asked.

"Yes," the man said, taking a seat beside her. "May I know of your name, miss?"

"It's Solisa. And you?"

"Arthur," he said and leaned back, putting his hands on his lap. "You have a lovely name."

"So do you."

There was silence for a while, and the two let it stay. It was a peaceful moment for both of them, and they just smiled in bliss.

"May I know the title of the book you're reading?" Arthur asked.

"Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Have you read it?" Solisa asked in turn.

"Why, of course. I would not call myself an avid reader if I haven't read it."

"Of course." Solisa chuckled. "I'm honestly quite fond of it. This is the ninth time I've read this play."

Arthur smiled. "And I, ten." At this, the two shared a laugh, and they continued on talking about a lot of things: literature, likes, and maybe some personal things about themselves. It was like a dream to both of them, a midsummer night's dream, if you may, but nothing like the plot that Shakespeare had thought of. It was a simple dream, one which Arthur wished wouldn't end.

Soon, Solisa stood and brushed her dress, Arthur looking at her curiously. "I'm sorry to cut short our time together, but I have to go. I enjoyed the silence with you."

"So did I. I hope I can see you again?" Arthur asked, still sitting.

"Of course," she replied and smiled, then bid him farewell as she skipped home.

Once she was out of sight, Arthur stood up too and sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I met her one summer day too, her with the same name. Solisa…" He looked up at the sky, already tinged with the hues of sunset. "It was a summer day such as this when I met you and a summer such as this when I fell in love with you. It's been three centuries, Solisa, and I've been seeing you…"

Arthur turned his gaze to the direction in which Solisa went and kept on speaking, a single tear gracing his lovely face. "I've been seeing you through your namesakes, Solisa. And I keep on falling in love…"

Under the sky dyed orange and blue

Throughout town the gentle winds blew

Time comes to me, bends down and whisper

A witness to true love that lasts forever

/ Hoopla.! There goes my first attempt at writing something romantic. Ah, who am I kidding? I'm bad at this. Anyway, please review.! :) /
