Author's Note: I didn't know the exact date so I'm just guessing. By the way just in case you didn't know I won't be able to exactly describe everything so if you don't know what happened in the original fight go to YouTube and watch it. (Sorry, i tried to enter a link but OpenOffice either ate it or deleted it.)
U.C. 0080, December 23,
Bernard Wiseman knew this was probably the end of his short and undistinguished career as a pilot. What was he thinking? Piloting a Zaku II against the monster that killed Mischa and got him and the rest of his now dead team into this screwup of epic proportions. First he crashes his Zaku into a colony foothill, on his first mission! Befriends a kid who doesn't really realize how horrible war is, and now he's about to be impaled by a beamsaber. Well, things could be worse, he knew he was kidding himself this was his greatest screwup ever.
"Wait, I'm about to be impaled?!", Bernie said quickly. He hit the left thruster as fast as he could. Thankfully, the beam saber missed and the gundam stopped and turned to slash at him, but he was faster, and luckily intercepted the elbow joint with his heat hawk. Sadly, he forgot the gundam had head vulcans which quickly shredded the Zaku's head, and with it the main camera. He quickly opened the hatch on the cockpit and swung at the Gundam's head forcing its pilot to hopefully do the same. No such luck, and a stray round hit the heating part on the heat hawk making it a club. He then realized, "Wait, all I have to do is make the Gundam unrepairable, so all I have to do is smash it up for a while, and I'm fairly sure this is the only mobile suit they've got left.", he said smirking.
Then he had a bad revelation, "Wait a minute, that thing is made out of Luna-Titanium Alloy I'd have better luck outdrinking Mischa", he said grimly.
But if he beat it he would get to see Chris and Al again. And Chris was pretty hot with her dazzling red hair and beautiful green.... Wait a sec, no time for dirty thoughts Bernie time to beat this guy into the ground! He snapped out of it just in time to realize the gundam tackled "him to the ground". He started to bring the Nigh useless heat hawk down on the Gundam's cockpit area as fast as his Zaku would let him. After a few long seconds of this continuous beatdown he saw the pilot knocked unconscious. He thought for a minute, "What do I do? I can kidnap the pilot and return to Zeon space, nah I'd have better chances here. Well, I could surrender, but I would probably be shot." He was dimly aware of the blood dripping into his eye. He might as well check on the other pilot. He clambered out of his cockpit and walked to the other downed mobile suit. The pilot probably had a broken arm, and the pilot was a she.
He took off her helmet to look once again upon the shockingly beautiful face of Christina Mackenzie.
