This is my first Ouran High School Host Club fan fic. I've been watching the anime and instantly fell in love. Though I still love Naruto more. Anyway, I wrote this last night while waiting to fall asleep.
This is just the intro, like in the real movie. I'm sure you can picture it in a stain glass version like the movie, too…only anime-style.
I don't own Ouran High School Host Club or Beauty and the Beast.
Beauty or Beast
Once upon a time, there was a beautiful king who lived in a beautiful castle. Unlike most kings, he was kind and self-sacrificing. His goal in life was to make women happy, and so he did. Women loved him very much, but none could he love more than the other.
But one day, a scary man hidden in a dark cloak appeared at his doorstep, holding a creepy cat puppet named Belzeneff. The scary man asked the king if he could stay the morning in his castle because it was too bright and sunny out. The king refused, afraid of the man. Outraged, the scary man threw off his cloak to reveal a handsome prince. The prince cursed the king and turned him into a beast with horns and golden hair. The curse also affected the other residents of the castle.
The prince handed the king a black rose and said, "When you find your true love who loves you back, the curse will be broken. However, if the last petal falls before then, you shall remain a beast forever. Kukuku…"
"Could I dip the rose in wax to preserve it?" The king asked.
"No!"
Then the prince realized he was in the sunlight and screamed before throwing the cloak back over himself. He disappeared into the dark forest surrounding the castle, never to be seen again.
Appalled by his appearance, the king locked himself in his castle from then on. After all, what girl could love such an ugly beast?
