Missing Pendent
I woke up to the familiar light on a Wednesday morning, but I was feeling uncomfortable. I looked around for any sort of change, sadly there was none. I was still on the same medium sized bed with lavender sheets and pale pink room that I loved so much. I looked out of the window to find the wild tree branch almost reaching through my window, it's leaves brown, orange or yellow. Everything was just like it was supposed to be. Then why was I getting this really weird feeling? I'm seeing faces and fire. Am I officially turning insane?
I looked at the pink digital clock on the study table, it read 7:16 and I glanced at the date it said second of September. How could I forget? Today was the start of my new school year! And I was already running late. I hurried to the bathroom and started getting ready.
Hi, I'm Miyu Kozouki, age 17 and a high school junior at Morning Star High School starting today. Yeah I'm excited as much as I'm worrying about it! I live right here in New York City, the coolest place on the planet, though we are not very rich. I'm basically not from the US, but with blond hair and emerald eyes I almost look like one.
I have my breakfast in 3 minutes and head towards the school, for the first time in life I had time to walk to the subway (usually I end up running). But running doesn't tire me. Not one bit. I have some sort of a memory problem, though. My parents passed away in an accident many years ago, but I just lost my memory. I don't remember them at all. Actually, I don't remember anything before I was 12. I live with my cousin, Mikan Yamamura who travels a lot. So basically, the apartment we rented is like having my own place.
In my preoccupation, I ended up in the wrong road. Wait. That's not true, I ended up nowhere close to a road. I think I got lost in another dimension (if that was possible). But look, there's no grass, snow or ground! I'm floating in mid air and there are some sort of weird machines all around me. Those things were surrounding me, they had some sort of half visible electrified sticks pointed towards me.
Then there was someone else, with chocolate brown hair and auburn orbs, wearing a cosplay outfit of a Prince and in his hand was a sword. That was the same face I was scared of right when I woke up.
But before I could even think, there was some energy like aura from my pendent that surrounded me and before I could see anything else, I was standing on the grounds of Morning Star High School. I glanced at my watch it said
8: 15, So I had fifteen minutes till homeroom. I was actually early! With that achievement, I walked towards my best friends, Nanami Tenchi and Aya Konichi.
We live near each other and they've been my best friends ever since we moved here, i.e middle school. Before I could find them, I ran into that brunet prince. But shouldn't he be just the work of my imagination? And he wasn't wearing any prince costume. He was just wearing a polo shirt, jeans and a jacket. Is it just me or did he smirk at me? My mouth gaped open and just then the bell rang and I hurried towards my class. That was when I noticed my pendent was missing but the necklace was still there.
