The Power of Power
The power of destruction is a power of true fear.
Whether it's in life or death, it makes people disappear.
People use it for their gain; people use it for themselves,
It can bring the user pain, like a curse brought on by spells.
To bend people to your will and have them follow your lead,
It is a power well abused and used for peoples' greed.
If you became an overlord would it bring you relief?
This may bring joy to some people, it may bring others grief.
The power of direction, the power to kill or maim,
They don't need to be super; they'll corrupt you all the same.
They are both real in war and peace and present here to all,
For humans all around the earth they bring about our fall.
