"You made a promise!" Loki screamed out to his "father". Before Odin can say anything else, Loki said, "This conversation is over; I hate you," then he ran off into his chambers hoping to find no one there.
Once he got to his room, he collapsed onto his bed and cried. He wasn't supposed to be one of those monsters, those frost giants, but even worse: his father told the entire palace! He only cried harder into his pillow, through the crying, he didn't hear his door open and close. Thor sat down on his bed next to him.
"I-I'm sorry brother, for what had happened," there was concern in his voice for his little brother.
Loki looked up to where the voice came from and frowned. He mostly didn't want his brother to find out. He sniffled out, "I-It's not your-r fault T-Thor, just go-o away."
"No, I'll stay to comfort you."
Loki knew there's nothing that can change Thor's mind, so he gave in and sat up, tears still running down his eyes. "F-Fine," he choked out.
Thor scooted next to Loki and gave him a hug, making sure that Loki's head was resting on his shoulder. After a few seconds of trying to get comfortable, Loki cried his heart out on his shoulder. Thor can feel the tears stream down his shoulder, and he softly patted Loki's back.
"Are you better brother?"
"Yes. Thank you, Thor. For the hug, for staying with me," when Loki turned to Thor he was all blue, literally. His eyes were a piercing crimson red and his was cold blue. "I... I just feel so alone now. I'm going to be an outcast."
"No your not brother, just wait here." Thor left his brother in his depressed state and rushed to his mother's bathroom.
When Thor came back, he had colored himself blue, darker blue were the accents on his forehead, matching Loki's. Loki smiled, tears already disappearing.
"Thor? What are you doing?"
"I'm just like you brother!" He smeared the lighter blue all over his face and smiled sheepishly and laughed. Loki couldn't help but laugh too at his funny brother's face.
"Thor! Your going to be made fun of in the halls! Take off the makeup!" Loki laughed.
"No, not until you turn normal again! Every time you turn blue, I'll be blue too!"
Loki couldn't help but laugh at his brother's stupidity. "I love you brother!" Once Loki said this, his skin turned back to normal, so Thor smeared off the makeup too.
"See! Your back to normal! Now let's play another game of Jotun Frost Prince!" Thor exclaimed.
"Wait, brother! You promise not to tell anyone about this. Pinkie promise." Loki pulled out his pinkie to Thor.
"Pinkie promise."
