Hey guys it's me! I am alive and I decided to write this real quick story. I got the inspiration from a few other one-shots that I have read, but really it was because I was up all night watching Fairy Tail and today had three chapters in one update! Let's talk about some major fangirling because I have no other friends who read Fairy Tail I had no one to talk to :( So I decided to write this cute little story, anyways I really hope that you enjoy my story and because I haven't updated in years please give me some constructive criticism but no flames please.

Midnight Proposal
As the midnight sky showed through the window of a young couple's apartment, only the moon was visible to the sight inside. A sleeping young woman with blonde hair that was a golden flaxen shade laying next to a young man with salmon hair. Unlike the woman who was asleep besides him, Natsu was wide-awake and simply staring at the sight of the woman lying next to him.
The only words that could describe the woman lying next to him would be beautiful, but to Natsu even that word could not do justice to what Lucy was to him. But the search for a word that would be able to capture the essence of what Lucy meant to him was not at the forefront of his mind, instead it was the question of how he would be able to ask his lover to be his forever. Natsu thought of all the clichés of proposals he knew of, but he wanted a kind of proposal that would forever be a memory treasured between him and Lucy. The kind of proposal that no matter what age they were at they would be able to remember like it was the night before.
Natsu considered a proposal that everyone at Fairy Tail would help out with… But no that would not work because he wanted the kind of proposal that represented the kind of relationship that he and Lucy had. Not a planned and structured kind of proposal where if one thing went wrong then everything was in shambles because that was not them. No he wanted the kind of off the cuff proposal that was completely and totally them because their relationship was one that thrived off of things not going according to plan. A proposal where Lucy and him would just be together and he would randomly ask her to marry him because at that moment nothing else in the world would matter more than them together. Not the thoughts of what tomorrow brings, not the missions that they went on, not how much many they needed, not even their nakama. Just them together at that moment. That Natsu decided was the kind of proposal that he wanted to share with the most important woman in his life.
With his head and heart decided of how he would propose to Lucy, Natsu closed his eyes and fell asleep. Because he would know when that time came for him to ask Lucy to be his.
