Pandora POV

This is a story of my very wierd, sometimes depressing, life. Let's start at the end of fifth grade. I had just found out that one of my best friends was changing schools the next year.

"What do you mean you're moving, Hallie?" Miranda asked. Her and I were close to tears, while Hallie was already crying.

"We're moving to Pensacola," Hallie told us.

At this point, half the class was around us. Miranda started crying, but I tried to keep my image and not cry. Thank fully, it worked. Although, I felt kind of bad not crying. We were best friends, I didn't want her to move. But crying wasn't for public places, so I would suck it and save it for home.

"Would you two like to go to 's office?" Mrs. Kennedy asked them. They said yes and left. Just so you know, Mrs. Green was our guidance counseller.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Later That Night~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The rest of the day was pretty boring, so we'll skip that. When I got home, my parents wanted to talk to me. Together. That's when I knew something was up.
"Sweetie, we have something to tell you. We're going to live in separate houses from now on," my mom told me. I tried to hold back the tears.
"Ok," I said.
They got up, and I ran into my room. This was too much. It was already 9:30, so I got ready for bed. My dad told me that he didn't want to move either, but we couldn't afford to live here anymore. Luckily, I'd still be going to the same school. Unluckily, I'd have to leave my best friend, Lucile.
So, that's day one. I know, I know. It sounds really depressing, but I promise it's not always like this. I will get better, I just can't tell you how soon. And, in case you were wondering, I cried myself to sleep that night.
