This takes place shortly after the episode "Go" where the Titans first meet.

Geography

It was a cool summer's eve with clear skies and not a crime in sight.

The stars were bright and twinkly.

And a certain alien princess was out on the roof of her recently built home enjoying it.

But when she heard a sudden "Beautiful, aren't they?" she knew it was about to get better.

Standing behind her was her new friend Robin holding a large piece of metal.

"Yes, very. What is that?"

"It's called a fire pit. You use it to make bonfires."

"Ooooh."

She turned her body around gave her attention to the handsome boy who always captivated it.

He set it down near her and set some logs he had with him in it.

"Enjoying the view?"

"I am now.", She thought.

"Yes, it is beautiful. Nothing like how it is on my home planet."

Robin sat next to her, "I'm glad you like it."

Starfire blushed at how close the two of them were now.

"You cold?" He asked.

She gave him a surprised look, "How… could you tell?"

Robin pointed at her hands, which were rubbing themselves together.

She looked down at them, "Oh."

Robin smiled and took his cape off, wrapping it around her shoulders.

"Oh, thank you."

"No problem."

She gave him a confused look. "Why would there be a problem? It was not a difficult task."

Robin chuckled, "No, it's just another way of saying 'you're welcome.'"

"Oh, I see. All people on this planet say that phrase?"

Robin tilted his head left and right a few times, "Ehh, not everyone. Mostly in English speaking countries."

She looked shocked, "The people of your planet speak more than one language?!"

Robin chuckled again, "Yeah. Different parts of the world have different languages and cultures."

Starfire suddenly got excited but then a cool breeze passed by.

"Ohh… It is cold." She hugged herself.

Robin pulled out a small metal stick and put it in the fire pit.

"Thermal stick, do your stuff."

Then suddenly a fire came to life in the pit.

Robin looked over at Starfire.

"Better?"

Starfire nodded. "Thank you."

"You're welcome."

"So… what part of the world are we in now?"

"This is called America."

Starfire looked over at the city.

"This is the city of America?"

Robin smiled, "No, this is Jump City. There are a lot of cities in America."

Robin reached into his belt and pulled out a screen device. "Here, look."

Robin turned on the device and was getting it set up. All the while she was looking at him in awe.

"He is so handsome. And he is so nice too"

Robin finished getting the device ready and held it up to show her.

She looked at the screen. "What is that?"

Robin scooted closer to her, "Jump City is in something called a state. In this case it's California, and there are 50 states in America."

Starfire looked at the map of America, reading all the names of the states.

"And each state has a major city called a capital."

The two teens looked at each other, scooting closer.

"Tell me more."

Robin smiled and the two looked at his device.

"Now there's the city in California we live in, which is Jump. And other major cities here are Coast City and Star City. In Missouri there's Central City. In New York there's Metropolis. And in New Jersey is Gotham… and that's where I come from."

"What is the Gotham City like?" She asked enthusiastically.

Robin looked away, "Uuuuuuuuuuuh. It's pretty to look at. 'From far away.'"

"Oh! I would love to see it someday!"

Robin chuckled nervously. "No, you don't."

Suddenly he felt her lay her head on his shoulder. "I thank you for this. It was quite fun."

Robin smiled. "You're welcome." He then wrapped his arm around her and held her close, resting his head on hers.

Afterwards the two of them slid from the edge of the roof and leaned up against the small wall that kept them from falling and slept beside the fire in each other's arms.
