"Hey. I'm home," announces Chris as he enters the front door. "In here." He walks towards the voice and sees not only his husband, but their three year old son, Caleb, in bed surrounded in blankets. "Hey babe. How are my patients today?"

"Well, let's see I got his 103 temp down just a little, he threw up twice, he can't keep anything down, and he still has a bad cough. Me on the other hand, all the above plus sore throat," groans Darren. "Leave it to you to get sick while taking care of Cal," smiles Chris. "But, it's not my fault." "It kinda is. You have the immune system as a child and yet still volunteered to look after him. You knew to be careful, but you got to close and now you look all run down. My poor babies," laughs Chris as Darren pouts. "Well now that you are hear, can you make me some soup? Please," sniffs Dare. "Sure honey. Gotta take care of my boys," states Chris as he kissed both his husband and son on the forehead and heads to the kitchen. Half a hour later Chris re-enters with a tray of tea, soup, and juice for his baby boy. They all sit quietly, Darren struggling to fully feed himself with Chris's help and Chris feeding Caleb. After making sure they finished eating and having something to drink, they snuggled together to watch their favorite movie for times like these, The Little Mermaid. "You know you can get sick to from being in here with us?" questioned Darren. "I'll take the risk because there is no place I rather be then with my family," smiles Chris as he snuggles closer. Days past and the boys are finally well enough to not only function, but move about like normal. Darren is headed to work with Caleb in tow for daycare. Right when they reach the door, a sneeze comes from the master bedroom followed by a bad cough. Darren enters the room and finds a tired looking Chris with a red nose and watering eyes. Darren phones work to call off and the daycare to cancel. He makes some tea, some soup, and grabs the thermometer. "I told you Chris."
