"Ssst! Keep quiet. Or they will hear us." Two heads came around the corner. Both of them were looking down the hallway. When nothing happened, they turned around and began to walk.
"It won't take long before they find us. We have to find a hiding place" whispered one of them. The girl has dark auburn hair, her hair in a ponytail, and freckles on her nose and cheeks. Compared to the other girl, she has a light tanned skin.
"You're right. Because those guys won't give up till they find us. We nee d a place where nobody can find us." said the other girl. The other girl has long red hair. Her skin was pale and pierced loop in her nose.
When the were at the end of the hall, the girl with the ponytail stopped. She had an idea.
"What we need is a hiding place that hides itself."
"What are you talking about, Abby? Have you gone mad."
Without an answer, Abby grabbed her friends wrist and dragged her through three halls before the walked up the stairs. When the arrived at the seventh floor, Abby dragged her through another 2 halls. Then suddenly she stopped, let her friend go and walked to the wall they were facing. She smiled.
"A wall. You dragged me all the way up to the seventh floor for a stupid wall? Now I'm sure you've lost your mind."
Abby turned around, staring at her friend. She wasn't crazy, she knew exactly what she was talking about. Still, her friend looked at her with disbelieve, thinking it was just a joke.
"Jo, have you ever heard of The Room of Requirement?
"The Room of Requirement? During the Battle of Hogwarts, there was a fight in there and everything got destroyed. That is all that I know about it, Abs. But I still don't know what you're talking about"
Abby turned back to the wall and touched it.
"Then I've got some news for you, Jo. The Room is still here. You were right about the fighting part, but it only destroyed the things that were in that Room at the moment. The other Rooms are still there."
Jo looked confused. The other rooms? What other rooms?
"It's a secret room that only appears when a person is in great need of it. The room is thought to have some degree of sentience, because it transforms itself into whatever the witch or wizard needs it to be at that moment in time. Mr Potter used it in his fifth year as a hiding place for Dumbledore's Army, before the Battle of Hogwarts began the room was used by students as a sanctuary. Even Scorpius his dad used the room. But they were all different rooms. And right now it has to be a hiding place for us."
Abby, still touching the wall, walk to the left with her eyes closed. When she was almost at the end of the wall, she turned around and walked to the other end of the wall. Jo kept watching her, not knowing what she was doing.
It was so quiet during that time. Then the sound of voices echoed through the hallway.
"I swear I heard something up here." said a familiar voice.
Footsteps. They were getting closer. Jo walked over to her friend and grabbed her shoulder. She made her stopped after she walked for the third time past the wall.
"Abs, they're coming. We gotta go now." whispered Jo.
Abby knew her friend was right, but she didn't moved. She looked to the wall. She smiled. Jo looked also at the wall. Just within a few seconds, the stone wall changed into two huge doors. Abby pushed them open. Behind it was a room, filled with all kinds of luxury (except for food). It looked like the walked in someone's living room. But Abby knew it was the Room of Requirement that transformed in what they needed. A hiding place. When the were in the middle of the room, they notice that the door was closed.
"Jo welcome to the Room of Requirement."
