Blake watched as a disbelieving Adam vanished in the distance. She had decoupled his car from the rest of the train, leaving him behind in her final act as a member of the White Fang. Tears streamed down her face as she turned away, the pain and guilt washing over her as she realized what she'd done... what he'd done to her. Opening the hatch to her car, she slipped inside and hid herself away among crates of Schnee Company dust. She curled herself into a ball and allowed herself to break down, the warmth of fresh tears soaking through her concealer and staining her white shorts.

Hours had passed, though she was unsure how many. She had cried until she ran out of tears. Her eyes were red and puffy, and her voice was hoarse. She was shaking all over, whether it was from hunger or exhaustion she had no idea. Drawing Gambol Shroud, she stared at her reflection on the metal as the blade rested on her sore wrists. She gave a look of disgust at herself as her bruises and cuts became visible on the dark sword. Sighing, she returned the weapon to its sheath and readjusted her position in her hiding place, hiding her face in her knees and falling into a dreamless sleep.

In the corner of the train car was another Faunus, expertly hidden from view. She had been watching Blake this whole time, but said nothing. At first, it was out of respect. She had seen Blake crying and figured she needed the space. But when Blake had lifted her head up to draw Gambol Shroud, she was horrified to see bruises under her eye and traces of cuts along her cheeks where her tears had carved through her makeup. She was frozen in place, and could only watch as Blake put up the weapon and went to sleep.

The Faunus changed to her normal colours and silently dropped out of her corner, walking up to the sleeping Blake as she removed her mask. The look on her face said the words that refused to come out of her mouth.

"What did Adam do to you?"

Sitting on the ground in front of her and leaning into the crate, she decided it would be in Blake's best interest if she kept watch while she slept.

Of course, it would only be a matter of time before she fell asleep, too.

More time had passed before the train jolted to a stop, waking the girls from their slumber. Not wanting to be caught, the chameleon faunus blended back into her environment and fled out the back door. The sound of the door opening and closing caught Blake's attention, and she could hear voices surrounding the train. Footsteps approached her car.

Running out of time, Blake opened the hatch and jumped off the train, running out into the main streets of Vale. At least there, she could hope for safety.

"That fucking pussy!" Adam snarled as he kicked objects in Blake's former tent. "I can't believe her! How could she run away like that?!"

The Faunus that had been on the train with Blake had returned to the White Fang camp in Forever Fall, and had overheard Adam's tirade against her. She carefully approached the tent from behind, changing colours to avoid being seen.

"How dare she?! I'm going to hunt her down! I'm going to destroy everything in my path to find her! I'll cut down everyone she loves!"

"Adam, sir?" another Faunus, a male, approached with caution. "It's Blake, isn't it?"

"I'm going to kill her," Adam growled lowly. "But first, I'm going to kill her family."

The chameleon Faunus covered her mouth in horror at the threats Adam made towards Blake. And just when she thought he couldn't be any worse, she heard him pick up something heavy and throw it out of the tent.

"Burn everything that Blake Belladonna owns!" he ordered. "Clothes, photos, Dust rounds. I want all of it gone by tomorrow! She is a traitor to the White Fang... and to the Faunus."

The Faunus that had approached Adam began consoling him. "We'll find her, sir," he said, placing a hand over his heart. "I swear on my life."

"Forget it!" Adam hissed. "It's time I returned to Mistral and-"

Before his sentence could be finished, there was gunfire in the camp and many of the White Fang members were defeated. Adam and the other Faunus rushed out of the tent, armed and ready. "What is this?!"

"We could've gone to anyone for help," a sultry female voice responded.

The Faunus girl that had hidden herself so well peeked around the corner of the tent, to see three humans that had confronted her superior.

"But we chose you, Adam Taurus."

Her henchmen opened a pair of briefcases on either side of her. One held Dust crystals and vials. The other held Lien. The girl in the red dress continued.

"Our plan will be beneficial for both of us," she promised as she set her weapons on fire. With a smirk, she concluded her promise with a threat. "Or one of us."

The lizard girl was shocked and horrified to learn that her commander had been dealing with humans. It was one thing to hurt the girl who loved him. It was another to threaten her life and the lives of her family. But this treachery, this level of treason to the White Fang's cause was completely different. She could see why Blake left. She chose to do the same.

Leaving behind her mask, she disappeared into the forest of Forever Fall, never to return.
