Garmadon hissed, clenching his teeth.
You can't fight yourself…
"I-" He gasped, eyes shut tightly. They snapped open again, crimson and radiating red light reflected from the full moon. His red-brown hair was sticking up in many directions, matted against his forehead, which was beaded with sweat. His skin was pale as a ghost, nearly glowing a sickly white. The moon shone through the curtains that were hanging in front of the window in the room he and Misako shared.
Misako was still sound asleep, light brown hair hanging in front of her face. Lloyd was asleep in the next room, Garmadon knowing he was safe from his wrath and anger.
Oh...You're so concerned about your little boy...What about your wife? She doesn't even understand you. You're a monster. Lloyd is forever cursed by-
"SHUT UP!" Garmadon was really angry now, slamming his fist on the ground.
Startled by the vibrations and the scream, Misako awoke sharply, to see her husband, trembling on the ground, pale as a ghost and crimson eyes glowing. She sat down next to him, murmuring soft words.
Lloyd, who was almost three, sleepily toddled into the room. "Dadie?"
Garmadon was still trembling, Misako noticing Lloyd. She motioned to him, Lloyd kneeling down.
"Dadie okay?" he whispered, grabbing Garmadon's hand.
Garmadon's lips turned upwards into a small smile. "Dadie's going to be okay…"
Lloyd smiled, curling up next to his father, Misako on the opposite side.
Meanwhile, Kai was fighting the staff's power, thoughts spiraling through his head.
Power...you possess all the elements...why would you give that up? To save your 'friends'?
Kai shook his head. "This isn't right...I have to get rid of this staff!"
Why? You can rule Ninjago… be what the greats couldn't...Chen, the Overlord, Garmadon… do the smart thing and USE THE STAFF!
Kai trembled. "Wh-Who are you?
I am your true self, the man you are destined to become! Let go of your fear...you were meant to be the Green Ninja...Kill him...Kill Lloyd...take Ninjago for yourself…
Kai bit his lip so hard it started to bleed. The fearful and concerned faces of Lloyd and Skylor stopped him in his tracks. "Lloyd...Skylor...no…"
KILL THEM!
Kai's heart was pounding in his ears. "I-I can't-"
KILL THEM NOW!
Kai roared. "NEVER!" He gripped the staff, shattering the crystal containing all the elemental powers. A surge of air pushed him back, his hands heating up with his fire.
He felt the weight of a human. "Kai! You did it!"
Lloyd was hugging him, tears of joy falling down his face. Skylor was crying too, embracing the fire ninja.
Kai caught Garmadon's eye, Garmadon smiling. He mouthed the words, You fought the venom.
Kai smiled.
No...don't do it… ;O;

Anyways, thanks for reading my oneshot. Oh, and 'Dadie' is just a random nickname I came up with… It's pronounced 'DAY dee', not 'DAH dee'. Just so we're clear. :D
