"And the arms of the ocean, so sweet and so cold, and all this devotion.. I never knew at all."

- AF -

Sometimes you have regrets in life.

Sometimes, you aren't strong enough to stop something from happening. Even when you don't want it to with every fiber of your being, with your very soul.

There was crushing, crushing weight pressing down on her from every side. The air in her lungs had been ripped from her, her life was slipping away so perfectly into the warm abyss. There was pain.

She wanted it to stop.

She wanted it all to stop, stop, stopstop.

There was the taste of blood.

Metallic, like iron, in her mouth. In the back of her throat. She felt like liquid might be filling her lungs. Was she bleeding, internally?

Her arms felt weak, feeble, she was powerless. Powerless to the pain, powerless to the crusing force that was everywhere.

Earth glittered as marbles do in sunlight in the side view of her vision. The same Earth she should be on. Humans are not meant for space.

Dizzyness overtook her, she felt sick. She was going to die.

She was dying. After everything, she was going to die.

Garbled noises echoed in her head. She wanted them to stop, too. It hurt. There was too much. Too much.

"..Hold onto me.."

Did the core she held onto, Wheatley, did he think she could?

That was funny.

Because she sure as hell couldn't.

The clang of metal on metal sharply rang now, she wanted to cry out for peace, for silence. Pain wracked her body. Her eyes were fluttering. She couldn't.. she just couldn't..

She was dragged inside with a gentle claw, far more gentle then she remembered the cruel looking things being to her before. She saw a warm yellow optic. She saw blue. Whatever was in her hands, she dropped.

There was blood.

"..Don't die, please.."

There was fear and regret and pain, not just the physical kind, the emotional kind as well.

"..No.. I'm sorry.. I'm sorry please don't.."

Her vision dimmed. The last thing she heard was oddly close to a sob, and Her voice.

"...This is all your fault..moron..Can't believe she..Held on.."

She fell away into the welcoming abyss.
