Moving gracefully around the room, the raven-haired teen kept a sharp lookout for anything out of place along with her blonde companion.

She smirked as she noticed another familiar raven-haired boy a few years older than her lurking around the stairs.

"Seems like I win the bet," she told her blonde companion.

Her companion merely chuckled.

"Seems like it. You going to do anything?"

"I wish he didn't disobey mother and father. I'll find you after I do my rounds."

"Come on cousin, surely you should enjoy yourself."

"And I plan to, but not at the expense of everyone's safety. The Inners are naïve to believe we are actually safe. Now I believe I have a brother to talk to. Keep your eyes sharp cousin."

The raven swiftly moved towards her older brother and before he knew she was upon him, she grabbed him by the elbow.

"Lets' go for a walk, shall we," she told him as she herded them out the glass doors.

"I know what you're going to say," the male raven said as he let his baby sister guide him outside.

"No, you really don't."

"I know I shouldn't be…"

"Here? And yet you are. This is very foolish of you! The Dark Kingdom is lying in wait to attack at any moment. When I agreed to attend this party, it was under the circumstance that you stay behind on Earth in case Queen Beryl sends her army. All the other inner planets rely on Earth's force to be ready. Yes Queen Serenity's Royal Moon guard is powerful, but Beryl's army is just as powerful. I care for the Inner scouts, but let's face it. They lack in training and discipline that my Outer Scouts and I have," she sighed as fought to not to strangle her stubborn brother.

They both stared each other down through their masks.

"I…"

"I know you love the Moon Princess. I get that. That's why I want your promise if anything does happen, get off the planet. Be on one of the escape pods. Get as many civilians off the planet as well. The Royal Guard, our cousin and the Inners will be ensuring to their safety as well as yours. Queen Serenity, the rest of the guard and I will hold them back as much as possible until you arrive with back up. The Outers are off on a mission and won't be able to respond to any distress signals sent their way. Don't do anything foolish or rash."

"I promise little sister."

"You're supposed to be the responsible one, big brother."

"Ahhh but I'm not the leader of the scouts."

"No…you're just the heir to Earth's throne. Oh and let's not forget captain of father's guard. And I'm only leader of the Outers."

Without him realizing it, she had led her brother right outside of the Moon princess' balcony, who was currently standing outside and gazing up the stars.

"You are lucky that I have my rounds to do about now," she whispered to him.

"And have I told you that you are my favorite sister ever?"

She laughed softly at his comment.

"Yes, I know, even if I'm your only sister," she responded as she shoved his shoulder lightly and walked passed him.

"Oh and brother," she called out to him as he was about to jump up on the balcony.

"Yes?"

"If you do anything foolish, such as break your promise to me, I can't guarantee that I'll be able to ever forgive you," she told him.

A shiver went down his spine at his sister's parting words as she did not wait for his reply.

None was needed.

Everything seemed to be order.

All the guards were keeping up with their updates.

The line of communication between Earth forces and them were still up and running.

But the feeling of anxiety wouldn't go away.

As she rounded the corner, voices down the hall made her pause.

She stuck to the shadows as she silently moved closer.

"…Yes. All is to plan. None have detected the feed has been compromised."

"You have done excellent work. Queen Beryl will reward you generously. Now go and let the others in."

"As you command General Jadeite."

The raven shut her eyes tight.

The feeling of betrayal and anger surged through her.

Pushing those feelings aside, she knew she needed to get away and sound the alarm.

"Going somewhere, Princess?"

She knew her chance of escape was slim.

"Wouldn't dream of it Jadeite," she said as she faced her enemy, Earth's Imperial Crystal glowing brightly as she transformed.

Jubilation Lee woke up with a start.

Her dreams as of late disturbed her.

It was as she was watching a movie of someone else's life.

And she was the star in it.

She could never recall the faces of those around her, but in her heart she knew those dreams were more than just dreams.

Ever since finding that fragment of ragged crystal on her last mission, the dreams slowly came every few nights after.

Something was calling out to her and demanding that she be prepared.

Be prepared for what, she had no clue.

Reaching into her night stand for the crystal she now carried with everywhere, she held it in her palms and stared.

Slowly closing her small hands around the crystal and bringing them up as if in a prayer, she whispered to herself.

"I don't know what to do, but I know I can't do it here. Please guide me."

She knew it was time to go.

How she was going to leave her friends and family for some mysterious calling was beyond her.

But it was time to go.
