Its times like these when I wonder why the universe hates me so much. Georgina Sparks cannot be back. Its just not possible. She has no reason to be back. No reason at all.

Well, except to torture you, says a voice in the back of my head.

And this is probably another sign of terrible things on the horizon. Generally voices in your head don't signify happiness and daisies.

And it helps not one bit that the only person I can safely turn to is the one person that I wish I didn't have to. Chuck Bass is the bane of my existence. Although he is my almost stepbrother, he's no Luke to my Leia. More like, Darth Vader. Man, am I going to be paying for this vulnerability for a long time to come.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't my lovely soon to be stepsister. Reconsidered the final taboo, have we?" he says, by way of greeting.

"Not exactly, Chuck. And you're going to be sorry you were so perverted when I tell you the real reason I'm here." I answered.

"Oh, do enlighten me? Does Blair need my wise and sage advice again? Or is it for poor Nathaniel that you're running errands now? I can never keep up with who has your loyalty and who doesn't," he replies snidely.

"My loyalty is exactly where is should be. With all my friends. Unlike yours, which is only with yourself. But, nevertheless, I've come to appeal to the heart that lurks in there somewhere. Georgina's back, and she knows stuff about me that no one can know. And I need your brilliant scheming mind to help me come up with a plan to get her to stop." I rush to the end hoping to get it out before I turn to my usual bitchy self that always appears around Chuck.

"Flattery will get you nowhere, Serena. All you had to was ask. I love to scheme. But, why may I ask, have you come to me and not Blair? She would be more than happy to help you." He questions my motives.

"Well, Blair would ask too many questions. And I would feel obligated to answer them. Whereas you, can ask me all the questions you wish, and I feel no obligation at all to answer." I reply, almost cheekily. Almost, though, because I do still need his help.

"In that case, welcome. Lets get down to business." Chuck sighed.

A/N: this is only the beginning. I have no idea where this story is going. Or who the ships will be. But I know it won't be canon. I get annoyed with canon ships of fanfiction for some reason.

Let me know if you'd rather see Serena end up with Chuck or Nate in this story. And if you'd like Blair to end up with anyone throw that out there as well, because I think the next chapter will be in hers or Chuck's POV.

All in all, it should rotate between the original four's point of view, Serena, Chuck, Blair and Nate.

Any tips you have on characterization are highly appreciated as well.

Thanks! Read and review!!
