AN: I got the inspiration for something along these lines a few weeks ago, only just got around to writing it, if anyone's wondering it's set between Bellatrix's 6th and 7th years at Hogwarts XD Erm yeah so this is kinda Blackcest mild Femslash, don't like? don't read lol. Oh, and I don't own any characters mentioned, though I wish I had Bellatrix and Narcissa ;D Enjoy!
Bellatrix lay in her bed staring at the ceiling, not daring to make a sound, her bed sheets pulled up to her neck. Her parents had been shouting at her beloved younger sister, Narcissa, again. She could hear objects smashing and her sister crying, it tore her up inside.
"I'll be with you soon Cissy" Bellatrix whispered "and then everything will be alright again".
The heavy wooden door of Narcissa's room slammed shut making Bellatrix jump slightly. She waited patiently for the shrill voice of her mother to disappear into the distance; it would not do her any good being caught after overhearing Druella and Cygnus' harsh onslaught. She shifted her long dark hair out of her face, got out of bed and walked to her bedroom door. Her hands shook slightly as she reached for the dull brass coloured handle and turned it slowly.
She crept down the darkened hallway towards Narcissa's room, being careful not to attract the attention of her parents. Once inside her sisters room her dark eyes scanned every inch of it to assess the situation, strangely nothing was a miss but Druella was never one to approve of mess and had probably fixed anything broken before leaving.
Then her gaze drifted over to the bed, where Narcissa lay curled up in a ball still sobbing. Her hair was normally picture perfect, but instead it was dishevelled and her nightdress torn in several places.
Bellatrix walked over to her sister and sat on the bed next to her, making her flinch.
"Shhhh Cissy, it's alright, it's just me," Bellatrix whispered sweetly as she stroked Narcissa's hair.
"Bella…" Narcissa mumbled, trying not to cry, "It hurts Bella" Bellatrix wiped the tears from her younger sisters ice blue eyes and lay down next to her.
"I wish I could've protected you Cissy" Bellatrix said as she gently embraced her sister, "you're so beautiful Cissy, mother's just jealous 'cause she can never be so pretty" Narcissa smiled at the unusually sweet tone her sister spoke in, it made her feel special, Bellatrix spoke to no one else in such a manner.
"Thank you Bella, I love you so much" the blonde closed her eyes and snuggled into Bellatrix's bosom.
"I love you too Cissy" Bella replied before placing a kiss on Narcissa's forehead.
"Will you stay with me tonight?" the younger questioned.
"Oh course Cissy, anything for you darling" Bellatrix replied.
Narcissa tilted her head up towards her sister and placed an innocent kiss on her lips, which Bellatrix eagerly returned.
"I'll always be here for you, I promise" Bellatrix added.
They lay there in each other's arms for the remainder of the night until the sun started to rise, as if their parents caught them, there would be hell to pay.
