Beccalovesbumblebee~ I am trying to improve my writing skills so I am doing a series of one shots featuring Sari Sumdac. Ok you know the drill I do not own TFA!
Ratchet X Sari
(Ratchet's P.O.V.)
The rest of the bots were off planet on a mission which left me and Sari to look after the base and the city of Detroit. Sari hated being stuck in the base with just me, but I told her it would give her some time to practice with her newfound powers. She had just walked into the med-bay with a plate of spaghetti. She hopped on a berth and began to eat her dinner.
"How is your spaghetti?" I asked her trying to start a conversation.
"It is good Ratch," She said with a smile. She sat the plate down as if she sensed something wrong. She sensed the decepticon coming our way just before the base did. The alarm went off loudly. I shut it off as Sari jumped off of the berth and ran quickly out of the med-bay.
"Sari! Wait!" I yelled after her.
"No Ratchet I have to go out there and kick that cons sorry aft for messing with my base," She said with determination. I saw the fire in her eyes, the fire I had fell in love with.
"But-"
"No buts Ratchet you are a field medic you have never really been a fighter. Anyways the bots need you to be in one piece to bring them back from Cybertron," Sari said running out of the base before I could stop her.
I heard the fighting Sari had gotten better at it but she was no match for a decepticon. I grabbed my EMP generator, when I heard this loud crash then Sari's soft groan. I ran out of the base only to find Sari on the ground, and Starsceam going to reach for her.
"Stay away from her decepticon scum!" I yelled blasting him with my EMP generator. It knocked him out, and then I used my magnets to throw him as far away as I could without causing a lot of damage.
Once he was gone I was on my knees next to Sari. Her eyes were focused on me, but they were barely open. She was weak and I knew it.
"Ratch?" Sari asked trying to focus on me.
"Don't talk kid your real weak, conserve your energy," I said trying to command but it came out as more of a plea.
"I can't Ratch…..It's dark…I'm so tired," She said as the last of the color drained from her face, and her eyes slowly closed.
" Kid! Don't do this! Sari please!" I yelled, before I scanned her. "She's gone. I let her die….. No I am not giving up on you," I said as I slid her chest plates out of the way to reveal her empty spark chamber. I pulled Sari into my arms as I opened my own chest plates to allow my own spark to engulf the girl that I held in my arms. I just hoped my spark would be strong enough to take hold in her spark chamber. I just didn't want her to offline not like this, not when I was still online and able to protect her. My spark surged through her body in a brilliant blue light, and then our chest plates slid back into place at the same time. She opened her eyes, and gazed into mine.
"You didn't give up on me," Sari said weakly with a slight smile.
"Of course I didn't Sari I couldn't….."I said trailing off.
"I love you Ratch," She said leaning up to kiss me.
I turned away from her I couldn't let her do this. "Sari that's not you talking that is the sparkbond I had to form to reignite your spark," I said to her knowing it was the truth.
"No Ratch I really mean it. I have felt like this for a while," Sari said blushing.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yes Ratchet, I have cared for you ever since I met you. You were always there when I needed help. You saved my life when I got myself into danger. When I almost drowned in ship after I pulled those wires you saved me from drowning," Sari said as she tried to kiss me again. This time I met her kiss. I was gentle with her as we kissed. I broke the kiss because I knew she needed to get patched up. I carried her into base hoping me and her would have no more distractions.
