"And the Four Founders of Hogwarts had so much power they created the Sun!"
"Ron, honestly, stop sputtering out nonsense."
"It's true, Hermione, it is!"
Hermione, already quite tired from studying, stood up groggily from the table in the Gryffindor Common Room she was sitting at and walked up next to Ron, who was staring out the Tower's window with piercing blue eyes reflecting the sunlight. It was 8 AM, for Merlin's sake. Why would Ron be contemplating the Sun when he had at least two hours left to enjoy the beautiful relaxation that is sleep?
"Look," she said pointedly, as she grabbed Ron's hands and positioned them so they were making a square frame around the pale yellow light in the sky. "Founders of a school can't create something that helps us survive. There's something called the Big Bang Theory I need to teach you about sometime." He sighed in response, gesturing his hands wildly, as he always did when he got embarrassed. With that, Hermione left the Common Room to go eat breakfast.
He always wondered why she was so pretty.
It might have been the sunrise in her eyes.
