" Shush, my darling! It's going to be okay!" The calm, gentle voice of Callie Lupin Prewett said to her little baby girl. The tiny baby's eyes opened slowly as she stopped crying and looked around the protected area of her mother. The mighty sea raged aginst the hard, brown shore as it quivered under it's rathe. Beyond the angry sea stood a tiny cottage where The Prewetts lived. Suddenly the tiny baby started crying again as a cold swept through her tiny body and ran through her mother's long, dark brown hair. Callie stood up and snapped her head back. She could have swore she heard her husband behind her.
Again a strange sound like the howling of angry wolves came and this time it scared Callie as well as her baby. At the next series of strange sounds she heard something that made her start to run. This sound was the sound of heavy breathing behind her. She ran all the way to the tiny cottage and didn't stop to look back.
When she entered the cottage she saw what she thought was her husband sleeping. She crept to the kicthen but one thing caught her eye that made her stop. There was an ugly mark at the beginning of his fore-arm. Callie knew at once what it was. But it couldn't be! Not Her husband! This mark on his arm was the symbol of the dark mark of Voldemort! At the sight of the mark she quickly packed her bags and opened the door to go out when a firmiliar voice made her jump and turn around.
" So you finally found out, huh?" She saw that her husband, Johnathan Prewett was standing at the door to the kicthen. All she did was glare but then jumped and held her baby closer to hert when he took out his wand. " You could have joined my side you know?...But I guess you were to carried away with all that auror crap to notice that your own husband was A Death Eater! Hah! Well, now Callie my sweet it is time to make a choice. Do you love me or not?" He screamed at her. She cringed because of his scraem and then said crying..." Yes, Johnathan but...why!" Was all she could say.
" Why? You don't need to know why! Just answer yes or no...Why do you love me?" Then, unable to stand it any longer she reached for her own wand to curse him, but found it was gone! She looked back to see Johnathan smiling at her and waving her wand in his hands. " Oh no you don't dearest! See, I took the liberty of stealing your wand when you went on a walk with our little one!" He said with a rvolting smile on his face. " My Baby!" She said softly under her breath. " What did you say dearest?" He asked, still grinning evilly. " I said!" Callie remarked bravely," I said that she is my baby you pompous git!" With that she turned to run out the door but he apeared infront of it and striked her across the face. " I'm sorry I have to do this but you have left me no choice Callie!" He pulled out his wand and aimed it at Callie saying only these fatal words, " Avada Kedavara!"
A rush of coldness hit Callie as she hit the cold floor. Her whole life flashed before her! Her family, Remus, Venna, Lily, James, and her baby. A mirthless laugh cracked the night like a whip and Callie knew it was the last thing she would ever hear. Looking over at her small baby she wondered if she was dead or not? Had the spell killed her? But she couldn't see her! Callie gave one last rugged breath and lay still.
No one knows what happened to Johnathan or Callie's baby. Perhaps some Minisitry People found her and took her in. All anyone knows is that Callie was gone forever.
