The Zoo

Title: The Zoo

Summary: A snow leopard cub is brought to the zoo, but refuses to eat. However, he takes a liking to a certain black flamingo. [Crack-fic] [Zoo AU]

"Open up Law," The zookeeper vet urged the snow leopard cub. Law refused, turning his head away. "Come on, you need to eat,"

"Doc," A zookeeper entered.

"Rocinante again?" The doctor sighed, placing the bottle of milk on the table beside Law. "What happened this time?"

"He tripped and rolled down the path," The zookeeper explained. "He looks okay but we want to make sure. Rocinante, come inside,"

A tall black flamingo strolled in, a bit dirty, taking a seat on the examination table next to Law. "I'll go get the disinfectants," The doctor sighed, seeing the few scratches on Rocinante. He then left while the other zookeeper went to clean up the mess that Rocinante had caused.

"Hi," Rocinante greeted the snow leopard cub.

Law was staring at Rocinante with wide eyes. "You look so fluffy!"

"Well, I do have a lot of feathers. I guess you could call me fluffy," Rocinante got of his table and sat next to Law.

Law tapped one of Rocinante's wings and his eyes sparkled. He then nuzzled against the bird. "Soft and fluffy!" His stomach then growled.

Rocinante took the bottle from the table. "Come on, drink your milk,"

When both zookeepers returned, they were shocked to see Rocinante and Law sleeping together, a protective wing over the cub. "I guess Rocinante's adopting him?" The zookeeper said.

The doctor shrugged. "Rocinante was adopted by a goat, so I don't think this is too weird,"

"I guess you're right," The zookeeper agreed. "Doflamingo adopts other animals so I don't think it'd be too weird if his younger brother adopts a snow leopard cub,"

"There's been even more bizarre biological families," The doctor added. "A dog had a son who was a komodo dragon who had a son who was a monkey,"

"A dog is the father of a komodo dragon and the grandfather of a monkey!?" The zookeeper exclaimed.

"Garp the dog," The doctor named. "Dragon the komodo dragon, and Luffy the monkey. There's a boa constrictor named Hancock that seems to have an attraction towards Luffy,"

"What the hell is wrong with these zoo animals!?"

The exclamation had woken Law up, causing the cub to cry. The flamingo gently petted the cub before angrily motioning the zookeeper to come closer. He then slapped the zookeeper across the face, growling at the man for upsetting his newly adopted son. Law giggled when Rocinante had slapped the zookeeper. Rocinante smirked and continuously slapped the zookeeper until he was able to get away.

"Doffy!" Rocinante called towards his pink flamingo brother.

"Roci?" Doflamingo questioned. "Why is there a snow leopard cub following you?"

"He's my son," Rocinante introduced. "Law, this is my brother, Doffy. He's your uncle now. Doffy, this is Law,"

Law narrowed his eyes at Doflamingo and nuzzled against Rocinante's legs. "Law's daddy, Law's flamingo,"

"He's my brother," Doflamingo pointed out.

Law stuck his tongue out towards Doflamingo and blew a raspberry. "Mine!"

"Wanna join the animal mafia?" Doflamingo offered.

"Yay!" Law cheered.

"Doffy, I'm not letting him join your animal mafia!" Rocinante snapped.

"Law is mafia! Law is mafia!"

"Do you wanna see your cub sad?"

"…"

"That's what I thought,"

"Bastard,"

"No, I'm a fabulous bastard,"

I just love it when Corazon adopts Law, whether they are humans or animals.
