The quiet pale eyed heiress said not a word when she saw them walk through the gates hand-in-hand, She was happy when she saw Naruto, yes, but when she saw that girl next to him, really close to him, her heart boiled up with anger but then it started to hurt. She learned that they were really together when she was invited to dinner by them. When she reached the restaurant, she learned that she wasn't the only one invited, the whole gang was there. Naruto practically bawled that they were a couple to the whole village. He seemed happy and so did his girlfriend. His girlfriend. Her name was Ayame, a girl with red flaming hair that cascaded down her back and bangs that framed her face. Her grey eyes sparkled whenever she looked at Naruto and it seemed that his did the same when he looked at her too. Hinata almost cried when she witnessed the exchange between the two of them. Hinata's heart ached, she couldn't take it anymore. She stood up from the table, all chatter stopping. Everyone was looking at her but she didn't say one word. She left the restaurant, startling everyone but a pair of blue cerulean watched her leave and couldn't help but be guilty for the heiress' departure.

She heard a soft knock on the door. She really didn't feel like opening or answering to anyone, but when she did, she was shocked to see who it was. There stood Ayame, the person she least wanted to see. No words were exchanged between them but Ayame decided to break the silence with a question that broke war inside of Hinata.

"How much do you love Naruto?" Hinata stared at her for a long while.

"More than you would ever love him," she said and she closed the door in Ayame's face. Ayame stood outside, her back leaning on the door. She closed her eyes as she contemplated on what Hinata said but then she sunk to ground, tears cascading down her eyes because she knew Hinata was right. No one could love Naruto as much as Hinata did.

Naruto wasn't as happy as he was he first got into the relationship. He noticed that. Although he didn't show his true feelings, it was still there. He didn't love her the same as when he first met her. He realized that when Hinata walked into the room in the restaurant. He felt her love and her sadness. He felt guilty because he knew that he was the cause of her pain. He knew that Ayame loved him but it wasn't the same. Ayame's love was like a mother's love and he didn't need-want- that. He wanted the love of how a girlfriend would love a boyfriend, a husband towards his wife, not a mother to his son. He sat there and he realized which one was for him.

Hinata was sitting and eating ramen at Naruto's favourite place. She was slowly eating it but her chopsticks dropped as a voice startled her.

"Is this seat taken?" there stood Naruto waiting expectantly at her for her answer.

"No," Hinata said quietly. Naruto sat down and ordered his ramen.

"I broke up with her," Naruto said.

"Excuse me?"

"Ayame, I broke up with her. I realized that she wasn't the one for me."

"So who is the one for you?" Naruto smiled widely.

"You."
