Disclaimer: I don't own Pandora Hearts otherwise, why would I be writing this? Wish I did though. Anyways, this is a GilxAlice Fanfic so be warned...Though this Prologue isn't AnyonexAnyone...
So...
Enjoy!!
There was a time when he actually thought dying would be a blessing. He had heard that death was a plague that was mankind's ruin. An evil darkness. Well, that's what he was told but then again, what if it was the light?
-0-
He saw a light.
Gold hair. Not like his brother's dirty color filled with muck and grime. This was pure gold, twisting and twirling in a long braid.
He saw kindness. Compassion in that light's eyes. Green orbs filled with worry staring back at him.
He saw hope, in a sunlight that was followed with a heavy downpour of rain.
Those clouds. Dark black eyes study him as if he is nothing more than dirt…Maybe he was…it didn't matter to him anymore.
Black nights. Black hair like his falling down that man's shoulders. Black like his clothes.
A Darkness. An aura that emanated from both of them. Him and that man.
The darkness didn't care about him or the small broken boy next to him.
But…The light did.
That sun took them in.
He gave then a hope.
He gave a future to that broken child and his brother.
And the darkness watched in the shadows of it all…
Waiting for the perfect moment…
The moment that would hurt them most…
to strike.
This was by far the shortest and least time consuming fanfic that I have ever written. Just so you get it…This page is told in 3rd person by Gil. I guess I tried to put myself in his shoes to see what it felt like first meeting Jack and Glenn. If you haven't noticed, Jack is the light/sun thing and Glenn is the darkness. This prologue is a little poetic (I suck at poems and I know this isn't one but it's somewhat...poetic is the best word I can think of...) but the rest probably won't be. Next chapter there will be some GilxAlice, so yeah.
Next Chapter: Meeting Alice
P.S. Please review…It means so much to people like me…there are few but for those that are, I'm sure you understand what I'm saying…right?
