Summary: "Shanks' perfect!" Killer just stared at his Captain's ridiculous reason.
We all know the famous Straw & Heart Pirate Alliance in the New World that caused a lot of havoc recently in the island of Punk Hazard and Dressrosa that affected a lot of wars in several islands in the New World. They also prevented the most important deals of the devil fruit exchanges – real or man-made – and illegal weapons in the underground business.
But we also know that there's the Apoo, Hawkins and Kidd Pirates in the making and their target? It's the yonko, Red-hair Shanks, so how exactly did they thought of targeting Shanks in the first place?
Before the alliance was made between the three Pirate Captains, Kidd discussed with his first mate about overthrowing a yonko and when Killer knew who it was…
"So Captain, why Shanks?" Killer curiously asked his Captain under his metal mask.
"Shanks' perfect!" Kidd exclaimed while grinning and cackling madly.
Killer just stared at his Captain's ridiculous answer to him. He's wondering if his Captain had plans under his nose how to overthrow a yonko and what are the motives behind it.
"Huh?"
"Look! I said that Shanks' perfect because we're both red-heads and we lost our arms. Isn't it cool if I defeat him? There's really nothing wrong if I replace him before I become the next Pirate King."
"Captain you're being-" ridiculous. Killer didn't finish his sentence because Kidd scowled at him.
"What?"
"Captain you're really smart, so how about we form an alliance with other Pirate Captains to overthrow a yonko, Red-hair Shanks."
"What do you mean form an alliance?!"
And that's how Killer decided to use a lot of sugary words – pirate style – to convince his Captain to form an alliance with the other pirate Captains. They're not going to make it alive if they did it alone and having anyone else in their side makes it easier.
That's how the Apoo, Hawkins and Kidd Pirates alliance was formed!
