Jake was sitting in his room when his cell phone rang. It was Darrel on the phone.

I can't forget all the great times we had together. I remember both the good times and the bad. Like the time when she wouldn't talk to me for two weeks because I said something about her precious Phantom and it made her mad. But I also remember the first time she took my breath away. My mom had made me ask her to the prom and when she came downstairs into the kitchen I couldn't believe what I saw. She looked so beautiful in her camo gown; it stopped right above her knees and hugged her curves nicely. I saw the sparkle in her eyes when I couldn't stop looking at her and rubbing my neck.

Sam was the only one who could ever help me, I was always to stubborn to accept help from anyone else. We have been through so many things together that a lot of people will never know or understand. It may never make any sense to you but she's my best friend and I can't stop thinking about her.

Nobody knew Sam like I did, and they could never understand why I can't get over her. There's no way you can help me, she was the only one who could. But since the car wreck that took her life, I've lost the only thing that mattered to me. You will never know her like I do.
