"Are you getting tired yet?"

Perry growled his reply and continued to keep up with the ropes. They've been doing this for hours and it was nearly 4 in the morning!

Doofenshmirtz didn't say anything more and kept jumping, he was tired and out of breath but sucked it up and continued doing what he was doing. Truth is, he had the off switch in his pajama pants pocket. He realized this about 2 hours ago but he kept his mouth shut. He needed the exercise and for some reason…he didn't want to stop. Jumping around like an idiot with his nemesis was…well he had to admit, he enjoyed it! The platypus made good company and he had had trouble sleeping lately. He would have been awake anyways at this hour, roaming around and just being downright lonely. There was another reason he didn't tell the mammal about the remote in his pocket. If his nemesis found out he had it, there was no doubt he'd be pummeled to a pulp. The platypus would probably much rather be at home then with him double dutching right now, he sighed sadly at the thought. As long as the animal was here with him now, he wouldn't be sad. He'd enjoy the time they were spending together now and worry about being lonely when he was alone again. With this thought in mind he gave a small smile and increased his determination in jumping.

The agent saw that his nemesis' head was turned and gave a small smirk. The man thought he hadn't noticed the remote in his pajama pocket! He felt a little undermined at that. He was highly trained and could recognize any weapon being smuggled, the same went for trap remotes. (Even though he had been informed that this indeed wasn't meant to be a trap) That reminded him of a very unnerving question he had in mind. The scientist almost read his thoughts and asked the same question aloud.

"Why did I build this again?"
