"You can't murder people just for being ignorant and obnoxious." Alfred's hands flailed out as if he were completely down with Al's nonsense.

"Maybe you can't." Al's smirk was certainly something to be reckoned with despite the exasperated face of his lover.

"It's not right to just go up and kill people for reasons like that or any reasons at all." Alfred grumbled, ignoring the implication placed upon him from what Al had just said to him.

"They were talking trash about you." The low growl in Al's voice shown that despite what he'd done; he still did not like what they'd said.

"Al, I don't care what they say or think. I care about you and how you see me." Alfred spoke up softly as he walked closer to his boyfriend and leaned slightly against him; his blue eyes simply begged for Al not to do anything like this 'for him' again.

"I just don't want them talking down on the best guy in the world, who wouldn't bat an eye at having to save people like them, who so clearly hate him." Al spoke, staring at those blue eyes that called to him.

"They don't hate me, Al. They don't know me enough to." Alfred smiled slightly at that, "If they met me, they couldn't hate me."
"Sometimes you're rather arrogant." Al chuckled as he stared down at his boyfriend that contrasted so beautifully with himself that he often wondered what the other saw in him.

"May be so." Alfred's eyes sparkled at the topic change as he leaned forward to kiss Al, hoping that their argument had helped Al to understand that what he did wasn't really right and that regardless Alfred couldn't help but love him.

Al smirked as he kissed his boyfriend deeper and thrilled over hearing that gasp that meant that he'd surprised him despite knowing that Alfred always reacted that way whenever Al did so.

He hated upsetting his boyfriend who really did light up his life.

Al decided that he wouldn't kill people for talking bad about his boyfriend and them anymore, not when Alfred clearly hated that action.

He'd try his best to even get back into the good graces of being trusted again as he wasn't a fool; he knew that Alfred while he could easily forgive people was not one to jump right back into trusting someone as no one seemed to have that ability.

The red head knew that he definitely needed to prove that he could control his anger and not harm anyone else to that extent for simply bad mouthing the kindest and most loving person that he'd ever met.

Al could learn from his mistakes and often had, so he would try extra hard for Alfred's sake; his other would never have to worry again about his boyfriend potentially going overboard and killing others for talking bad about him.
