Shannon Fielding was not the type of girl who gave herself freely and Leroy Jethro Gibbs knew that. He also knew that as a new marine his salary would not buy her the moon.

So for their third date Gibbs found a hill, he made a picnic of cheese sandwiches and juiceboxes.

"Gibbs," Shannon whispered as they reached the top of the hill. He laid out the picnic blanket.

"I know it's kinda cheap," he said.

"No, not at all," Shannon replied, "It's sweet and romantic and it's with you. So it is the best date I've ever been on."
