Summary: Tony and Palmer get back onto the same page after the Jeanne fiasco.
Same Page
The elevator dinged and Palmer walked down the hallway of the apartment complex with a spring in his step. He reached a familiar door and stopped for a second resting his ear on the door. Palmer listened as Tony hummed Sinatra.
"Come fly with me, let's fly away" Tony sung.
Jimmy knocked on the door; Tony arrived just seconds later with a tea-towel draped over his overpriced shirt. Jimmy presented Tony with some cheap supermarket wine, and a smile crept across the Italians face.
They got through dinner by talking about various unimportant things; work, their mutual friends, and the weather. Jimmy enjoyed being in Tony's company wonderful and the evening was reminiscent of the summer Gibbs was away when they were almost inseparable. But since that summer Tony had been pushed into the relationship with Jeanne Benoit for the sake of Jenny's crazy vendetta and Jimmy had jumped head-first into kinky and casual sex with Michelle Lee, as an escape. For a while Jimmy had wondered if they'd ever get back to that point in their relationship, if they'd ever be on the same page again.
"Why are you doing this?" Jimmy asked nervously as he poured his third glass of wine.
Tony paused and ran his finger over his wine glass. He too wondered if they could go back after everything that had happened over the last year and a bit.
"I want us," Tony paused and took a gulp of wine.
"To go back," Palmer interrupted. Tony nodded and took Palmers hand.
"Shall we skip dessert," Tony offered with his trademark smirk.
