Well, folks, I decided to make some edition on this fanfic, I had to work to improve a bit the story... to add some spice on it.

Not to mention that I had to change her Job and the year.

You know Maxine lives in the year of 2018.

So who is Maxine? She is a 25-year-old woman who fought against a serious illness and survived thanks to her passion...the Dance, she is a Firefighter and a Paramedic and loves to help people.

So let's go on with the chapter.

Maxine...

The Year of 2018...

It's a nice day in Detroit and of course, everyone appreciates the good weather, some will walk in the city park, shop or just enjoy other things the city has to offer.

Maxine is a 25-year-old girl who lives in the center of the city, more precisely in a neighborhood where everyone knows each other, lives with her uncles who work hard to have a decent life, always lived with them, having a rigid education but at the same time with lots of love, barely knows the biological parents, they had been very abusive to her.

When the uncles knew about the abuses they made the decision to take her home with them, being estimated by everyone, including grandparents on both sides, and even after being a grown-up is still well-estimated by all.

Life was not very good in a matter of work for Maxine, but that did not stop her despite having a Ph.D. in business management, went on another path... Being a Firefighter at the city Fire Station, and she gave a lot of herself to get it.

There's something else... Everyone knows that she has other talents and dedicates herself to them in her free time... She's got a lot of energy and doesn't like to be stopped.

She dedicates herself to body and soul when it comes to saving lives but does not let her work interfere in her private life, although she is always on alert, or something happens!

She has a very active life, and likes to go out at night with his friends, drinks moderately while talking to friends about running issues or then going to the disco to have a little dance, the exits at weekends are an escape for her, otherwise, it goes crazy.

She has a Big passion, the Dance and when she does it is with a lot of passion and feeling, why she took a management course and does not work in that area? Why didn't she follow her passion for dancing?

Very simple, the uncles felt that the Dance was no future, and they both forced her to study management, because that was the future for her, but Maxine was of fixed ideas and during the high school and college times, enrolled in a dance course, and to finance the two courses, started working in a workshop as mechanics, because her uncle knew the owner of the workshop, learning a lot.

Thanks to the work in the workshop, she was able to pay for her studies and martial arts classes not to mention that she managed to be financially independent.

It was due to this, she managed to survive a disease that killed and kills many women if it were not detected in time... Breast Cancer, suffered a lot due to chemotherapy and the surgery that was subjected to, and another thing, fears that the disease can come back and this dominates her life and has only spent about a year and a half since it happened.

Friends helped her overcome this great ordeal, and she remembers who was always there for her, being grateful for it, and her uncles are very proud that she had overcome a disease like that, and when she thought about it, she sketches a smile.

She has a strange feeling that something will happen, but she doesn't know when...
