...Yeah. Not too sure if this is comprehensible, but it made sense in my head. I think I've succeeded in staying within the requirements which were:

Req: Cannot have traveled together/with the same Doctor. No dialogue. Soup must be mentioned once.

Not connected to my other Doctor Who stories, and this is set after Journey's End. I don't own Doctor Who, yadda yadda yadda...

Romana was sure it was a nice little restaurant by human standards. Very cozy and dimly lit, comfortable seats and polite waiters. The fact that there were many strange time readings coming from said restaurant hadn't interested her in the least bit. Not in the lea...well, maybe a little bit. It was intriguing. Almost half of the customers in the room had twisting and turning time-lines, and lingering bits of strange radiation. She didn't feel any danger from the radiation, it was just...there. So there she was; sipping tea, munching on a chip, and keeping a close eye on the others.

Jack groaned at the warm atmosphere in the restaurant. It was a little too cozy for him. He thought he had fixed his vortex manipulator, but the Doctor had scrambled the teleportation base code so often (and he was sure that someone at the Hub had been messing about with it when he wasn't looking) that he had gotten one number off, therefore landing him in this little den instead of UNIT Headquarters for the meeting he was supposed to be attending at the moment. He could almost kiss those extra funds down the drain.

But with every cloud, there was a silver lining. The particular silver lining of the moment was that the restaurant was full of very good looking people. He took another look around the room, smiling slightly at the young blonde woman near the window who was nibbling delicately on a chip. What Ianto didn't know, couldn't hurt him. He stood up and made his way over to the blonde woman by the window. He sat across from her, with a large smile on his face.

He opened his mouth to speak, but before any words could come out there was the loud sound of ceramic hitting the floor and even louder shouting. They both turned their heads to the back of the restaurant, to where to women were fighting; one in a leather jacket with the word "Ace" written across the back and one in a purple air stewardess outfit, the latter covered in what looked like chicken noodle soup. Jack jumped forward and tried (unsuccessfully) to pull them apart, but he ended up slipping on a spoon, falling over and causing the two women to scramble over him to try and tear each other apart.

Romana rolled her eyes at the scene, pushing the chips away from her and leaving the building. She stopped a few feet away from the door, something tickling the back of her mind. She looked around, seeing a small gathering of people starting to crowd around the window looking in. She shook her head as she dismissed the feeling, and headed towards her TARDIS.

The Doctor shook his head at the scene in the resturaunt. The TARDIS detected a strange signal, and what did he find when he landed? Ace dumping a bowl of soup over Tegan's head and Jack jumping in to help. He mentally did air quotes around the last word. He pushed himself apart from the crowd as the police arrived. He looked around confusedly, feeling a static feel at the back of his mind. Before he could ponder it any further, it was gone. He shrugged and walked back towards his lonely blue box. He didn't notice that the post box he had passed earlier had strangly disappeared...
