The last fight
The smell of gun pouter hung in the air. And the last faint screams of pain was hear in the distance. Nobody seemed to be alive, but in between the many corpses there was one who moved. His silver hair was stained by blood, and his exposed skin was covered by bruises. He looked up from the ground, his crimson eyes stared angry around for any enemies left. But the enemy had left as quickly as they had appeared. He slowly made his way up from the ground, teeth gritted in pain.
"how did this happen?" the Prussian empire asked himself. He looked around at the many corpses, who used to be his men, but not one of them was alive. He'd let out a deep sigh and picked up his hat from the ground. He placed it back onto his head and dusted off his clothe a little. That's what it takes to be a country, to see the people around you die. Then realization hit him like a brick in the face. If this had happened to the rest of the men, then what had happened to "holy roman empire!" he shouted and ran for full speed, off to the tent where he knew the young nation had been sleeping when the attack hit.
The tent was complete chaos, everything was scattered across the ground. Panic grabbed the albino, when he didn't see the little nation in the tent. Had they kidnapped him? did they want to torture him? Or had they just killed him on the spot? Every worst scenario ran through Prussia's head. His trail of thoughts were interrupted when a small voice was heard from behind the tent "Prussia? I-Is that you?". Relief washed over him as he made his way behind the tent, but he was meet with a horrifying sight. Holy roman empire was laying on the ground in a pool of blood. Large cuts was visible on his clothe, and he had clearly been stabbed in the chest. Prussia rushed over and kneel next to the young nation. "P-Prussia, I can't move" holy roman empire's voice was weak as he spoke, but Prussia was clearly able to hear him.
"it's alright, we're going to get out of this mess" he assured. The rain began to fall around them. Prussia leaned in over the little empire, protecting him from the rain. Prussia smiled down at him although it didn't get to his eyes. "that how it is to be a country" he said with a fake grin. If a tear escaped then he would blame it on the rain. Holy roman empire was far too small to experience something like this, but unfortunately that's how the world is.
"I couldn't keep my promise to her" tears was flowing down the young nation's face. In his hand was a crumbled picture, showing a girl with auburn hair, a green dress and a bright smile. "I couldn't come back to her" his words was chocked.
"of cause we can go back, we can go back to Austria's house, back to her" Prussia tried, but the little nation kept crying. He knew as well that not the both of them could walk away from there, he just didn't want to believe it. He ruffled the boys blond hair and gave him another smile "you're probably tired, why don't you sleep for a while?" Prussia asked, knowing that when he closed his eye he wouldn't open them. "I can carry you back and then we can have a good dinner with Austria, Hungary and Italy" he continued. With the mention of Italy a smile grew on the young empires face. "I would like to do that" he answered. "wake me when we are there" he added as he closed his eyes. Prussia watched as holy roman empire began relaxing and his breathing became slower. Finally Prussia let his tears fall down his face. He whistled once and a small yellow bird came flying.
"Gilbird, fly back and tell Austria that the holy roman empire has fallen"
