The water washed over my body as I scrubbed the shampoo into my hair. Little strands of pink locks falling in my face every now and then. I tipped my head back as the shampoo ran out of my hair and down the drain. I stared at the ceiling, eyes wide with a eerie sound from the quietness. The only time I ever closed my eyes was to occasionally blink or sleep.

Blink

I walked to the other side of my shower to grab the conditioner and squirt a little into my hand. Slowly I worked the soft gel into my hair, removing the knots, tangles, and bumps. I worked the conditioner out of my hair and started to grab my loofa.

Blink

I opened my bottle of Shea Nut body wash. I squeeze a reasonable amount onto my loofa and started to turn around.

Blink

The wide eyed man was in my face, a vicious glint shining in them. He wore nothing but a murderous smile. He came at me and pulled me to the floor of my shower, him on top of me. I screamed with all my might.

Blink

There was nothing. No worrisome parents asking what's wrong. No monstrous man on top of me. No one around to hear my scream.. Slowly I picked myself of the floor and sat with my back against the wall. Slowly, as slowly as I always moved these days. Before, I moved with purpose, delight. But now, what's so delightful these days?

Blink

'How dare he!' I thought in anger. 'What did I do to deserve this?' slowly tears finally made their way out of my eyes. The face still imprinted in my head. Black hair, almost a head taller than me, a year or two older. But what came most to me was my parents blood on his body. The same color as his eyes, blood red.

Blink

No one knew of my hard-ship. I want to keep it that way too. I reached for the shower handle and slowly turned off the water. Standing up I opened the door and grabbed the towel in the foggy room. As I wrapped myself up I heard a knock on my door.

Blink

"Who could that be?" I asked myself as I quickly got dressed in a oversized shirt and boxers. I ran downstairs to the front door to look through the peep hole. 'What's HE doing here?' Grudgingly I opened the door. "What?" I asked slightly irritated. He shook his head, " I know."

Blink

"Know what exactly?" I asked with suspicion. He stepped closer. "About HIM." He said through grinding teeth. Shocked. That was my first emotion of the bazillion that passed by in my head. "How?" He dropped his head and looked at the ground. "It was his final words.."

Blink

"He's dead..?" He nodded. I couldn't comprehend what this meant. He knew what I was thinking and said the answer for me. "Your free. You don't have to be scared anymore." I stared at him with disbelief. "Not.. Scared.. Anymore?" He nodded and took me in his arms.

Blink

I embraced him and hugged him tight. Silently crying into his shoulders. He just allowed me the quietness and rubbed my back. "Shhh. Don't worry. Itachi's gone now." I nodded my head. Still crying with my eyes wide open.

Blink

"T-T-Thank you Sasuke." I said. I was free. Free of the man who stole my parents, my life, my innocence. Finally, after 7 years, I closed my eyes willingly. Knowing I would be safe now.

Hope you enjoy! :] This is just a random story I thought of when I realized I never closed my eyes in the shower. Flamers Welcome! I do NOT own Naruto. Though I do wish I did sometimes. :P :D Have a good day!
