Notes: Written for supernatural_100 at LJ. Kinda sucks, but I'm trying to get back into writing.

It was now or never. The moment they'd been preparing themselves for since this entire convoluted mess began.
The end of the world. Ceasing to exist, becoming nothing. Or, if you wanted to get fancy, the apocalypse.
The apocalypse was coming and though he adopted a brave face, Dean was scared to death. He knew Sammy was, he'd admitted as much. But he couldn't. Now wasn't the time to be scared, though. What good would that do? It wasn't going to stop the impending disaster that was looming over them. It wouldn't cure the forboding feelings in his gut.
Dean clenched his jaw as he cocked his gun. All the pep talks in the world didn't change the fact that they were never gonna come out of this. It had to be this way, though. He knew, their Dad had known it, Sam knew it, hell, even Bobby knew it. No running away. No backing down.
He looked at Sam, who simply stared back at him. He didn't need to ask what his brother was thinking. He already knew. They would most likely fail, but they couldn't think about that right now.
Time to blow some sons of bitches away, or die trying.
