How could those idiots in Memphis have allowed him to escape?
Now he's after me. I know how he thinks. He wants his revenge and his bit of fun.
I was only doing my duty as Director of the Hospital for the Criminally insane, but he is holding me accountable.
Fortunately, I have a plan to disappear where he will never find me.
As a child I studied the viola. I've arranged with my cousin, Soglioto, for me to join the Florence Chamber Orchestra under an assumed identity.
Lecter won't be able to track me down in a thousand years.
