Chapter1:Wedding
"I just don't like Alice keeping me out of all her plans."
"I know, Bella. Alice can somehow plan a wedding, yet keep her mind occupied on something else so that I can't even get into her thoughts." Edward stated as he pulled me into a hug. After all the times I've been close to him, I still get a little light-headed by his wonderful scent. It's not at all like a human smell, it's different. That's because Edward's a vampire. I looked up into his golden eyes, the product of the hunting trip he had just returned from. While I had been stuck with Alice for the weekend, shopping, and she had kept all of her plans for Edward's and my-err-...the plans under lock and key.
"Edward, we both know Alice will over-do herself, again, but I just want to be prepared. It wouldn't be fair to you if when I see the amount of people in the...in the church, that I have a panic attack!" I exclaimed, putting my head to his cold, pale, non-beating chest.
"Bella, dear, I know, this isn't what you planned, yet you shouldn't be worrying about the little things, if anything, you should be worried about the transformation," he added calmly.
"The little things!" I interrupted as I pulled away from his grasp and got off my bed to look out the window, frustrated. "Having all of Forks and who knows who else, maybe all of Washington at our wed-wedding, isn't little!' I finally admitted it, that I was getting married. Then all of it sunk in and I found my eyes to be full of tears. Turning around, I noticed Edward right behind me, a little cautious. He put his hand on my face, wiping away the tears. "Oh Edward, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have taken this out on you, not here, not now. I guess I over-reacted."
"Yes, yes you did." he acknowledged, jokingly. Edward bent down and kissed me lightly on my forehead before going back to lay on my bed. I followed."So, how was your shopping trip with Alice?"
"Ugh, Alice" Edward grinned.
"Was she that bad this time?" he asked.
"Well, she took me to New York City just to get a few items for my dress on Saturday and then-"
"You know, Alice is making this hard for me to not see the wedding dress. She can't help think about it every once in a while, but then she suddenly remembers that I might be in her thoughts."
"You don't have to make this hard on yourself, Edward. We know it's not easy for you to block peoples thoughts."
"No, it's tradition, not to see the dress." Great. Tradition again. Edward is all hung up on making this wedding proper, and like any normal couple would. Yet, we are far from normal. I'm an accident prone teenager in love with a 107 year old vampire stuck in the body of a seventeen year old!
"All right, do as you please."
"Thank you," Edward responded as he stood up.
"Where are you going?" I asked.
