Twilight town...It felt odd knowing that the last time he was there, it was all fake. An illusion created by Ansem. It was also weird knowing that nobody there knew him. And yet he had all the memories. All the fake memories. And he was the only one that had them. His old friends wouldn't even recognize his name. He almost felt angry, but then realized he couldn't feel emotions. Though it wasn't like he was technically there...He was only seeing through the eyes of Sora. Pushed aside in the deep recesses of his other's mind. He hated it...Though, since hatred was an emotion, too, he didn't really feel it.

He watched as Sora talked and laughed with his friends. HIS friends. What gave Sora the right to take his place? The ones he loved. Or, the ones he thought he loved. Olette, Pence...Hayner. He loved each of his friends for different reasons. Olette, because she was kind, and caring, and hardly ever showed fear. Pence, because of his goofy manner and how he always managed to make him laugh. And Hayner...Different from the others. A different kind of love. He admired the way Hayner was the leader, and how he always took charge in tough situations. How he just seemed so damned tough, but on the inside, he had real fear. Hayner had confided in him that he, too, was scared of losing his friends. he never showed it, though. He always had that tough, skin of steel attitude.

He realized though, that that love was fake. Nobodies couldn't feel emotion. No, they were cursed to live their lives- if you want to call it a life- with no emotion. Longing to have a heart. Everything was always fake. Nothing was ever real. He stared through the eyes of Sora at Hayner. How he just wanted to reach out and touch him...To get back was was lost. It was then that he realized that when he was with Sora, he technically did have a heart. The love was real.

On the outside, Sora wrapped his arms around Hayner suddenly. On the inside, Roxas smiled.
