ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN: THE OTHER
A/N: THIS IS AN AU WHICH A DIFFERENT OUTCOME OF THE BATTLE THAT KILLS SPIDER-MAN HAPPENS.
Peter is bombarded by assaults from the Vulture, Sandman, and Electro, but before Electro can finish off Peter, he is shot in the chest by a returning May Parker. The bullet wound causes Electro to unleash an electrical barrage that neutralises Vulture and Sandman. The battle was thought to be over until Norman Osborn awakens, lunging straight for Peter, Aunt May, and Gwen Stacey. Peter grabs them both and jumps to safety with the Green Goblin following quickly behind.
" GET AUNT MAY OUT OF HERE! I DON'T CARE WHAT SHE SAYS!"
Peter frantically instructs Gwen to not listen to anything Aunt May says and to get her as far away from the battle as possible. Meanwhile, Mary Jane is at home watching the news and trying to get in touch with Peter on the phone. When she sees the sparks in the sky coming from Peter's neighbourhood, she tries to leave the house but is stopped by her mother. Meanwhile, Peter fights against the Green Goblin but realizes he is too weak to win the fight alone. Peter tries to wake up a sleeping Johnny Storm/Human Torch from the front lawn, but fails. Desperate and faced with a super-powered Goblin, Peter begins to mercilessly beat Osborn with a mail box while verbally berating him. Asking:
"What's the point of killing Spider-Man!?"
"Killing me won't bring back Harry, your son who you killed!"
"Killing me won't restore your industrial empire!"
Osborn responded by saying:
"But you'll be dead."
Peter, seemingly resigned to dying, clenches his side as the Goblin bears down on him, when suddenly a speeding (stolen) van driven by Mary Jane hits the Goblin, momentarily incapacitating him. Peter punches through the windshield to rescue Mary Jane, kisses her, and throws her to safety in a web that he spins. Osborn tries to crawl out from under the van, angry and vowing to destroy Peter's life and family like Spider-Man destroyed his. Peter lifted the van and prepared to crush him but he punched Peter, making him drop the van in the process and he stepped on his chest, giving him a hard time to breath, he steps on Peter's head and he lifted and threw him near Mary Jane. Osborn was about to kill Peter but MJ defends Peter only to be punched and thrown back by Osborn. That made Peter extremely angry and it caused Peter to gain one last measure of strength to morph into a Spider-like creature with razor sharp teeth and stingers coming out of his wrists to assault and kill Osborn by biting his neck and impaling his heart with his stingers, that caused Osborn to rapidely turn back into his human form, dead and bloodied up. Peter fell to the ground. Aunt May and the others went to him.
"What have you done?"
"I didn't save Uncle Ben, but I saved you."
Peter seemingly passed out, Johnny checked for a heartbeat but there was none, Mary Jane went to Peter's body and held it, crying unstoppably while doing it.
