Reality Check
'What the skittles?' was the only thought going through Nikki Evan's head when she woke up.
One minute she was listening to Wake Me Up by Avicii blaring through her head phones as she walked down the street, the next she was in a cold room with bright lights that hurt her eyes. Then she opened her eyes and realized she was in a hospital, she lifted her arms up to try to get up. Only then did she realize her arms were shorter and more pudgy than they should be, she was scared and confused so she did the only thing she could think of... she wailed hysterically. Nikki then felt someone pick her up like she was nothing and hand her to a beautiful woman with brown-gray hair and pretty blue eyes "Shh, it's ok Kitsune-chan." she cooed in a sweet voice, then handed Nikki back to the doctor and started screaming as she gave birth another child, he was really tiny with blood red hair and the milky blue eyes all baby's start out with. She took both tiny children in her arms and whispered weakly, "They're so tiny... I'll always protect you Kitsune, Gaara..." Nikki realized then that she had been reborn and her new name was Kitsune, and this was her mother. But she also realized that her new mother was dying from giving birth to her and her new twin brother. Then her new mother's body fell limp, Nikki/Kitsune and Gaara wailed loudly as they were picked up by a doctor and taken away from their mother's cold, limp body.
6 years later
Sabaku no Kitsune woke up and ran downstairs to the kitchen to grab some food, she saw her older brother Kankuro and her sister Tamaki talking "Hi Aniki! Hi Nee-san!" she yelled at them and giggled at their startled expressions, then she grabbed an apple and went to find her twin brother Gaara so they could play. She found him sitting depressed on a swing "Gaa-chan" she yelled and ran to him. He looked up startled and then a grin split his face when he saw Kitsune, she always knew just how to cheer him up somehow. "Hi Ki-chan!" he yelled back and then glomped her when she was near enough, "Lets play Gaa-chan!" Kitsune exclaimed and struck a weird pose where she stuck one hand on her hip and used the other to point to the sky with her legs spread apart. Gaara giggled (can boys even giggle?) and struck the same pose while yelling out "Ok!" which got Kitsu to giggle (There sure is a lot of giggling in this chapter) they played in the sand for a while, with Gaara and Kitsune manipulating the sand to make sandcastles. They got up and dusted the sand off then walked home together, that night Kitsune laid in bed thinking how lucky she was to be reborn with such a good twin brother as she could've had a much worst life.
Author's Note: Hey guys, sorry this chapter was so short but I don't have the time to make a longer one. Sorry its kind of cliché but I love Gaara and hated how he had such a lonely childhood so I decided to make my OC his twin sister because I thought he needed someone to lean on who wouldn't betray him like Yashamaru. I'm thinking of making this a NarutoxOC story or a SasukexOC story, leave reviews on who you think Kitsune/Nikki should be paired up with. Also tell me what you think of it, no flames though. All flames will be used to make smores ^-^
